He bought a new hard drive and instructions in late 2010. Pay Pal receipt for the new hard drive T40 series. September 7, 2010 receipt. They were in the attic and he took them to his place of employment on April 28, 2011.

You're suppose to melt down your hard drives before disposing, BS says.

What was on those old hard drives is what I want to know! He knew there was evidence on those hard drives that would show up after he killed his wife. MOO

Melt them? You are supposed to melt them?? So ridiculous.....

Maybe when you buy a new comp they should come with torches..

Wild About Trial 2 ‏@WildaboutTrial2 1m
I feel like torchin' a few hard drives or something after all this torch talk with Brett #Seacat

so he didn't want LE to get to those computers....how convenient

You know, unless you are a secret spy or have 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 material on your hard drives you just format them and reinstall the operating system on them. Then you sell them for whatever you can get out of them or repurpose them for the kids or grandkids.......Is this a Kansas thing, spending a couple hundred dollars on new hard drives for old computers you are going to sell?

Ok I am sorry, this can't be a Kansas thing but an idiot thing!

Yup. Idiot thing. You need to sell the puterssss? You reformat the hard drives and reinstall the operating system. If you bought original, you have the disks.

hmmmm....all this hard drive prep in the fall..... putting them in the attic, buying instructions for installations, burning the old computers etc. Was he planning this way in advance or am I missing something?

  • #733
well, I was......

I wish I could see this guy's face. He's very glib. Wrong attitude IMO

Torching things 2 days before your house burns down is probably not the wisest choice.
Market for old cell phones too! Bustling!!

  • #736
Sorry but after Ms Jodi this defendant is a lousy liar.

  • #737
Market for old cell phones?????????? OMG seriously?

  • #738
Ok I was godsmacked by the computer torching and got lost here somewhere.....now he is selling his old cell phones? LOL
