I've been out and about, getting ready for a big vacation next week. We're going to pick up my house-sitter/sister over the weekend.

I've followed the trial on HLN a bit since it started, and watched live the other day. For the rest, you have all sure been a great help! I'm behind on HLN now, but I've got the idea and can't wait to pick up the live feed for the cross.

Strange, scary, guy, IMHO.

Is the slow speech some kind of technique that a Defense Attorney is supposed to do.

Or are we just faced with a bizarre coincidence?

And gas cans...and fog....

Defense lied, he is asking more questions....

HCG box

She was. No smoke or soot in lungs.

well thank goodness for that. Kind of hard to shoot yourself and set a fire, especially since no smoke or soot in lungs. Bless her...that poor poor woman.

Prosecutor Hanley starts her questions now....

No training in interviewing? Flores would be agog.

  • #1,355
"Have you ever received training in how to testify?"

BINGO. That's what I have been saying since he started speaking. He sounds like an expert witness (sorta, you know what I mean).

  • #1,356
HAHA!! He doesn't want to admit to the training or anything else that parallels this case.

I like this prosecutor. She already has him stumbling.

Try this link for photos of the actual gun:

Note the condition of the ammo

You mean where the shell popped back out alittle bit? The guns looks like fire soot is all over it. Why it that? Wouldn't her body have shielded the gun from soot? That isn't her pieces of her melted onto that gun is it?

If her body burned so badly that it didn't shield the gun then how can the coroner tell no smoke or soot in her lungs? Sorry to be so graphic but....

So that class in financial crimes that he taught...he did not really teach. So that projector he used was not used for that class the day before his house fire.........

no training how to interview as a detective?

NO

No training on how to testify in a jury?

NO

Booking and transport (classes)

Yes

Fraud class?

No. But I did teach classes on financial crimes, but I assisted on one class. I came in and observed.

Sounds like she's going over his background right now -- kinda boring stuff.
