If I may add the golden child Scott Peterson to that list.

Unfortunately, there are many similar cases that we have covered on WS since I've been a member. Drew Peterson should definitely be on the list.

Here's the title of the book I mentioned up thread:

Erased
Missing Women, Murdered Wives
By Strong, Marilee

Good, good read.

I'll never understand why a parent would ever think that killing the other parent is a solution to their problems.

Did he really think he could get away with a horrendous murder and then go on to live life and never look back?

CUCKOOHEAD has it summed up pretty well below.

Yes.

IMO people who premeditate a murder are not hard wired like normal people with a conscience. They also usually think they are superior in intelligence and can run circles around the rest of us and so good looking that we will fall under their spell. They think they can plan the perfect murder and fall back on their irresistible charm if in a jam.

I wonder how much they were spoiled as children? Always getting their way? Being the center of attention? Never having to work to get what they want? Never learning to share? Never being denied or hearing the word 'no'?
I wonder how many spoilt brats grow up to be self entitled, ill equipped adults like Casey Anthony, Jodi Arias and Brett Seacat.

They start at 8:30CST and can stay as late as they want, but official hours are from 8:30AM to 5PM

Is that 7:30 EST?

Oh believe me, it is a page turner. It goes all the way back to the 1800's if I remember properly. Sister Borndem and I read it about the same time, back in the retrial of Jason Young. Shivers.

I purchased it based on yours and Born's recommendation but haven't read it yet. I probably can't find it now. I need the entire Merry Maids Corporation here for about a month.

Just got it delivered to my Kindle. My kind of book. Thanks for the recommendation.

Anybody remember Roy Kipp Florida LE? Convicted of murder. Wow was he arrogant! Court TV days.

I would have downloaded it to my Kindle but needless to say, I can't find it either. Part of the problem is that I have my 6 year old grandson here and when he's here very little gets done. We like to play :)

BBM: You just described what I call TROPHY BABIES. (They got a trophy for being born, brushing their teeth, and eating all their peas.) The 1st of that group is about 30 years old now and I think we can expect to see more and more violence from them and the trophy babies coming up behind them as the years go by. :twocents:

Oh boy, correct you are about the housework, especially when grands are around. Right now he's busy watching UNC-Chapel Hill play baseball in the winning game to the College World Series. His dad played for UNC-Chapel Hill. He may be only 6 but he knows baseball. Thus my being able to check on here every now and then. I need a verdict!

Couldn't have summed it up better! :takeabow:

I haven't followed this case long and have a question. How many times was Vashti shot? I think I only heard the prosecutor bring up the one to the neck but somewhere I thought it was said there were two more?

Just downloaded it to my Kindle app from Amazon. It's $9.95 I think.

She was shot twice, I believe the second time was due to the fire.

Vashti was shot once.

Due to the fire, the gun ejected other bullets and she had shrapnel on her, but not actual shots.
