I hope you have faith and a good strong prosecutor and a mountain of evidence against this person. I can't imagine seeing justice for other victims while my own loss is still up in the air. I can't imagine what you are going through. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank You Friend.............

If I have a present murder case where do I go?

Dr. Drew was on an HLN show for a short segment about what's the best course of action to help the two sons of Vashti in the future.

He says he talked to somebody in Brett's family, I think he said Brett's family, anyways someone said there were concerns about Brett before this happened.

Apparently someone said he showed more affection for his dogs than the humans in his life. Really? I want to hear more.

Doing some reading and thinking here. I'm always amazed that it matters so much which U.S.A. state someone is in when they committed the crimes.

It's wine time :)

Thinking of Vashti's family....and Brett's family....may they have some comfort.....

At least for Brett's family, he's still alive.

I know a lot of people don't like HLN and Jane Velez or Nancy Grace, but Interesting info being said right now being said. Also has some family on both shows.

BBM Sorry to quote myself but I was giggling because that sounds like I'm inviting Shelby to sit in a glass of wine with me. I'm up for it if you are, Shelb!

Not surprising. After all he made sure they were safe from his fire.

Yes I'm listening to JVM right now, it is interesting. They are talking about Brett being on diet medication instead of Vashti. I could have told them just by looking at his skeery tweaked out mugshot!

Yes, you probably are ;), but yes she is! The stiletto heel murder of a University of Houston professor by his girlfriend. She stabbed him up to 30 times with her heel, ugh.

Awwww just heard on Nancy Grace that da poor widdle baby Brett needed help walking out of the courtroom and was having trouble breathing. Eff that guy! Bet Vashti had trouble breathing, too.

Julie Hostetler, Vashti's Mom, and her brother, Rich, are on NG. They both say Brett was very controlling and possessive. Vashti was afraid, yes, her brother Rich says she must have been afraid of what Brett would do.

Vashti's Mom says she wanted Vashti to move in with them while Brett got acclimated to the idea of the divorce. Vashti said, "I don't want to endanger your lives." Wow, she was too brave, and then, I must remember he (and his family) were law enforcement, plus Vashti still hoped Brett would accept a separation/divorce and not really be a murderer.

Turns out Brett was a murderer.
