What a beautiful boy. This is just heartbreaking. How can you hurt a 4 month old baby? What can they possibly do to make you angry, besides cry? uugghhhhhh
If you haven't done so already, please SHARE. Anyone with info. on where this baby boy could be is asked to call police. As the search continues, Vincent Moore's family is holding a prayer vigil at 8:30 p.m. tonight at 24th N. and Hillside
Another baby that will never be seen again. Sigh...
FFS. This cannot end good.![]()
Edit: my thoughts are probably better left unsaid!
This just infuriates me! I will never understand how a parent could hurt their child and just dispose of them like garbage. Me and my husband have been trying to have a 2nd child for 2 1/2 years now with no success so cases like these just break my heart! There are so many loving families that desperately want a child and then there are monsters that don't seem to care how lucky they are!
It IS infuriating! I can only imagine how stories like this resonate with people trying to conceive.
http://ksn.com/2015/08/03/search-crews-in-south-wichita-regarding-missing-four-month-old/Officials say they are following up on a tip regarding missing 5-month-old Vincent Moore.
Wichita Police say a tip in the case of a missing infant led them to an area in S. Wichita. Police announced the search for Vincent Moore, who is now 5 months old, last week.
Police searched the area, but say they found nothing to lead them to any type of evidence in the Moore case.
Police did not discuss specifics of the tips they've received, but say they are following up on others.
We asked Moore what he thinks happened to his son. "I think she just has him stashed away," said Moore. "That's all I want to think about."
He's talking about Vincent's mother, Michelle Mendez. The couple separated, but are legally married. Mendez told us Moore had Vincent last. Moore says she did.
"The night I had dropped him off to her, she just yanked him out of my car and yanked the diaper bag and left," said Moore.
Moore tells us he took their kids to Texas to get them away from Mendez. We asked why Moore was worried about his kids being in her custody. "Because Michelle has a history of doing drugs," said Moore. "And when she doesn't have money, she'll go to a man that does have money and she'll do whatever it takes to get that money."
Moore says he brought Vincent back to Mendez in Wichita so the baby could get his vaccinations and be approved for daycare. That's the last day he says he saw the 5-month-old in early July. Moore was arrested soon after.
"I think it's real (expletive) up and stupid to be honest," said Moore. "Because I've been telling the police to take my kids from her custody and nobody's done anything. Once I do, something like this happens."
Vincent Moore was last seen a month ago. As the search for him continues, Lauren Seabrook spoke exclusively with the baby boy's father today.
