I'm wondering about the circumstances....someone called it in? Heat seeking drones if they were camping? They never left San Clemente.

TBI should consider themselves very fortunate that they didn’t make it any further than the San Clemente area. The flat tyre clearly put a massive spanner in the works. Terrific news that they’re safe.

I’ve seen some pics and comments from locals indicating where they were found and if it’s correct (I won’t share what is currently speculation) then they really didn’t go far after those pics were taken, and may also have travelled north rather than south.

Yup. Found in Dana Point. just 5 miles north of where they were last seen on camera. Looks a bit like the Doheny State Beach Campsite or thereabouts.
