Alicia Lyons, 20, of Fort Wright, was arrested Wednesday. She's accused of using duct tape to secure an 18-month old boy to a mat to get him to go to sleep.

WTH is up with people duct taping kids?

This happened a month ago. The facility and the mother have just found out. Now they are going to put in cameras. Well good because these people are bonkers taping kids to mats and chairs and you name it.

I agree filly. This is the 4th duct taping story this year, and those are just the ones I can specifically recall.

Wth is wrong with people??

If they aren' t posting duct taped kids n FB, they're out taping kids at work.

She has a baby and is currently pregnant.

Alicia Lyons was sentenced to 30 days in jail, which she may serve only on weekends, and ordered to attend a five-year diversion program for her conviction for criminal abuse.

Justina Rogers received a two years of conditional discharge, and if she violates terms of her release she'll be ordered to spend 12 months in jail on her conviction for endangering the welfare of a minor.
