She was found in a ditch on Upper Dixie Highway about eight miles north of Bowling Green. Her throat was slashed, severing both main arteries, she suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and she’d been dead about two or three days before being found.

She was described as a white female in her late 20s or early 30s, 5’5” tall and 120 pounds. She had strawberry blond or light brown hair and was wearing a short white tank top, stonewashed denim shorts, white socks and lavender and white high-top tennis shoes. In addition to the tattoos listed in her NamUs profile, she was wearing a gold rope chain and a smaller gold chain on her neck, a gold rope bracelet on her right wrist and a birthstone ring with pinkish stone on her right hand.

Bowling Green Police said that the manner in which she was dumped and her appearance were similar to a string of slayings that occurred across the US since 1983. Fliers with the woman’s picture were sent out across the state and her fingerprints entered into NCIC.

Dental records were available at one point.

I wonder if they have resubmitted her prints into AFIS in recent years. Agencies are doing this more and more and I recall it has resulted in some identifications over the last 5 years or so.
