I have a different interpretation of the evidence. I'm not an expert, but as I understand it, Pachinko players are overwhelmingly male; and, historically, pachinko parlors are associated with Korean organized crime rings in Japan. I suspect the decedent may be of Asian descent, may have entered North America through Vancouver, and possibly might have been compelled to work in a massage parlor or brothel. Such folks are often trafficked all over the country by underworld types. She may have angered one, or just become inconvenient, or even tried running away in desperation.

This is interesting. It would be odd that she would be trafficked or did prostitution in Kentucky since I would think there would be more clientele in more populated areas. But, there is prostitution and trafficking everywhere.

Why would she carry a souvenir representing the people who enslaved her though?

Pachinko may have underworld ties but it's also a very touristy thing for Westerners to try on a trip to Japan. Here's an article describing this particular pachinko venue as one of the best "foreigner-friendly" options. MARUHAN Pachinko in Shinjuku - Shinjuku, Tokyo

None of her other clothes or accessories have ties to Asia, either. I feel she's probably an American who had traveled to Japan - or she just found the token somewhere and kept it because she thought it was interesting.

coins in pill bottles are also used to grind marijuana.

I checked the brand of her pants. They are clearly denim and not leggings. The brand Almost Famous is still around. From the level of decay of the clothing id still say she has been dead a really good while, probably several years.

I agree as well. I am still trying to figure out what that crochet-like piece of clothing is. If you know can you please tell.

Its the warp thread of the denim fabric, the shuttle thread has been largely worn away. Basically the skeleton of the denim. You can still see the outline of the pants and the pockets, slings and rivets.
It had large embroidered flowers on the backpocket and probably rhinestones. Hard to see.

Oh okay thank you that makes a lot more sense.

I would submit her.

I would but I have never submitted before and don’t live in the United States. Is there an email I can just send it in to or would I need to call?

Did anyone end up submitting Patricia Quinn? Sounds like a solid possibility to me.

UPDATE:

The UID is now listed as a Caucasian Female. Her age range is listed as 44-86 years old. And I don’t remember if I had uploaded the possible height range prior, but her height range is listed as being 5”1 - 5”7. No information on her estimated PMI and/or year of death has been listed.

She was found within an hour of Ft Knox. The pachinko parlor is within an hour of Yokota Air Base near Tokyo. I'd say souvenir coins from a military connection...
