''CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) -The Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville, were contacted on July 25 around 9:20 a.m. by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department in reference to possible human remains being located.

KSP Detectives responded to the scene, where they discovered a farmer had located the unidentified human remains off of Barkers Mill Road in the Oak Grove community.

The investigation is ongoing''.

''A person on a tractor located the body while bush hogging about 8:45 a.m., according to a Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy on scene, who says Kentucky State Police is investigating along with the coroner’s office.

The cause of death wasn’t immediately known and it’s unknown how long the body had been in the field.''

The body was sent to a medical examiner in Louisville and through missing person’s reports and dental records, the body was identified as 39-year-old Jason Littleton, of Clarksville.
