Anyone else think its weird that no one has said what she was last seen wearing? Most missing people have what the person was last saw wearing pajamas, blue top pink bottoms etc.. If it was 12 am surely she would have had pjs on. If bf last saw her on couch after coming home what was she wearing? Did she shower when y'all got home? What shoes was she wearing ? Are they in the home still? Pieces of the puzzle are missing.

I think Brooks had his own 2 1/2 year old that night. Remember grandma or somebody said the two boys were dropped off at their dad's and the two girls were with grandma's. Maternal and paternal.

MOO is that something happened even earlier on Friday. Why else wouldn't she return her daughters call. I think when daughter #2 called grandma at 6pm Friday it was because she had been trying to get hold of her mother and could not. One call unanswered would not set up the grandma call.

Speaking of that grandma called Crystal at 6pm to let her know her daughter was looking for her and then nothing until 9pm when daughter called again. Seems this was Crystal's MO. Mom didn't start calling around until Sunday if memory serves me right.

So Brooks was alone with the little guy. I would not put it past him to leave a sleeping child alone in the house while he went out and did..whatever.

I wonder if it has been verified Crystal did show a rental property and if she was in fact at the family get together Friday evening.

Does anybody happen to know the distance from where Crystal and the BF lived and the farm they searched yesterday?

MOO is that she either disappeared after returning to the house after showing the rental property if she did in fact do that or she disappeared after the family get together Friday evening.

If she disappeared after the get together then perhaps she and her daughter were having words and she chose not to answer her texts. People do that.

There has to be some sign of her in one of those vehicles they have been searching. Blood, DNA.

There is no perfect crime.

Brooks Houck says he has not lawyered up. Well he better because each time he opens his mouth he digs himself a deeper hole. "He that protesteth too much"!

Rogers’ mother, Sherry Ballard, said Monday Houck has “Eli” in his custody.

“He’s with his daddy, and his daddy won’t let me see him,” she said.

Very telling to me and also says a lot about his character IMO

IMHO it also confirms the comment made upthread about children of that age being able to indicate what happened with mommy. He doesn't want her family members to question the little guy. That child needs to be questioned by an impartial LE officer, in the presence of a protective services officer.

Our WS friend Steelman posted this marked map yesterday:

(Crystal/Brooks house is a teensy bit misplaced -- just a few blocks, though)

Oh I agree but I wonder what has to be known to have that happen? My worry is that the childs memory will fade by the time they can get to him for questioning.

I didn't realize a child that young would understand much about what happened but it's been a while since I have been with a 2 year old. Actually he might be closer to 3 depending on his birthday.

I wonder whose fingerprints were on the steering wheel of Crystals car when found?

Ooooh, yes it does. It didn't do that yesterday! Lemme look and see if I can find it...

Yes it works fine now. Thank you.

Of course now I have a million more questions. :)

Did they have an argument at Houck's parent house?
Where they even there?
Did the arrive and leave together?
Would that be the route home...parents to where car was found to their shared home?
What time did they leave?
If driving separately who had the 2 year old?
Was it her habit to not return her teen daughters phone calls?

I believe the farm is where they were living.

I tend to think they did visit his relative's home. Why place others in the position of providing a phony alibi. Assuming they would be willing to lie, it's very risky. Even when telling the truth, people sometimes mix up details when interviewed by LE. A person lying for another is much more likely to get confused and go off script.

The same goes for the "showing the property" story. That can be checked out, and he knows it. It makes no sense to add it unnecessarily. Instead, (IF he's lying), I'd think he would have come up with a more detailed picture of a lovely, quiet evening at home with just the toddler there with them.

As for the route from his family's property to home, the car's location is in the opposite direction. Also, her dad told NG that there would be no reason for Crystal to be on the road where the car was found.

I can't find anything about any of Brooks family members...
But I do know that Chrystal's uncle is a Police Captain named Tom Roby.

Thanks. I did a little digging around on the police website and found what I think was being referenced in something I read the other day. I really hope they have a lot more that they're keeping to themselves and that it's something that lead to the search on the property yesterday. I'm worried that all the rain we've had and are still in store for doesn't hinder the searches they're doing. The grounds are so saturated out here right now so I wonder if there are certain areas that aren't able to be combed through as thoroughly.

http://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2015/07/11/crystal-rogers-missing-mom-kentucky-intv-newday.cnn

New interview with Crystal's sister.

She says that Crystal would have taken the baby with her if she left, would NOT leave him at boyfriend's (interesting)

That the stress in the relationship was from her being jealous that the Bf was bringing other women into the picture.

That she (sister) does not trust the Bf

That he has cooperated with police but has not helped in any searches.

Also mentioned that BH has not always been honest. When asked a question he will skate around it.

I just read her cell phone was not charged. It did not say dead, just uncharged. Has anyone else heard that?
