A search warrant was executed on the farm of her boyfriend's mother

As of 6 p.m. Friday, the Nelson County Sheriff’s Department and state police remain on the scene.

investigators used K-9 units to search a car parked in the driveway of a missing Nelson County woman.

Specially trained dogs searched an SUV parked in the couple's driveway.

Search for missing Bardstown woman to resume Saturday

While this investigation continues, WLKY has been told searchers will not be returning to that area Saturday.

Although law enforcement won't offer many details, they said Friday that they had obtained a search warrant.*

For more than eight hours, they combed through woods and creeks on the property until darkness forced them to quit.*

240 acres is a lot of property to search....
Wonder if anything was found and also wonder where they will be searching Saturday?

New interview with Crystal's sister.

She says that Crystal would have taken the baby with her if she left, would NOT leave him at boyfriend's (interesting)

That the stress in the relationship was from her being jealous that the Bf was bringing other women into the picture.

That she (sister) does not trust the Bf

That he has cooperated with police but has not helped in any searches.

Also mentioned that BH has not always been honest. When asked a question he will skate around it.

Saturday they continued their search for her on Highway 49.

"We have a 20-mile radius around Bardstown. We're searching every road, every ditch line, wells, sink holes on properties, we're going after them," said Rogers’ great uncle Sam Johnson.

Just reading along this morning and I was certainly surprised to read this. I didn't realize her aunt was found close by years ago. I knew the story about the aunt but the location was what caught my eye. Wow

“Crystal is a good person. Crystal would never ever, ever leave on her own,” Said Teresa Ballard, Rogers’ aunt. “Something has happened to her.”

Ballard said the family is still dealing with the loss of her sister, also named Sherry Ballard (Barnes), who disappeared from Bardstown in 1979. Three years later, her remains were found on property not far from where Rogers’ vehicle was abandoned on the parkway, Ballard said.

“It’s almost like the same thing is happening over, but a different person,” she said.

"Family members say several hundred people have been searching since last Saturday, covering Nelson and surrounding counties. Underwater cameras will be used in the search this weekend. Crystal’s dad Tommy Ballard said if the conditions are right, divers will be utilized as well."

Johnson says they're looking everywhere including down private wells, on dead end roads*and in fields and ravines.
