GUILTY KY - Ed Dansereau, 63, Pamela, 58, & Calvin Phillips, 53, murdered, Pembroke, 19 Nov 2015 *arrest*

You are singing my song much better than I did. It could possibly be that the unknown male and female DNA's are Joan and her son. Too bad they are not required to testify. We could have had a Perry Mason moment.
I agree! Why were they not swabbed and tested and 'excluded'? Makes no sense to me!
Seems to be some contamination going on by officers and that's not encouraging either.

Yep, lots of spaghetti is being thrown around...on both sides imo.

Prosecution wanted JH to testify, but her stating through her attorney that she would take the fifth shows some guilt imo. The son’s attorney said at that hearing about the fifth that he was a suspect at one time. They must of cleared him...how? Still waiting to find out..but will we ever?

I can’t figure out why the prosecution put some of these witnesses on knowing what they might say. So far the only positive thing for the prosecution that has come out is the three witnesses that said CM told them that if anything happened to him look at CM.

That cross contamination is really unprofessional and these people should face some repercussions, IMHO.

Interesting, the remains of one person in the car was found in the front and one was found in the back. It was not stated why but they didn't Pam Phillips remains until later. Medical Examoner is testifying about those findings now.

If Calvin was getting all of his information from Joan Harmon, then of course he thought Kit was going to kill him. Certainly an argument could be made that Joan was engaged in a large disinformation campaign against Kit. Look up what women with borderline personality disorders do when they perceive a lover or professional abandoning them. I would really like to know why Joan took Pam’s phone to the AT&T store. Did Rocky testify which of Pam’s phone she was calling Pam on? Assuming the killer was in the house and that is when Pam was shot, then wouldn’t the killer want to tie up loose ends by opening the phone to trace who the caller was? The State is doing an excellent job of proving that these three victims were brutally executed, but LEO’s should have done everything they possibly could to exclude her as a suspect. Where was she? Was her DNA tested? Stokes? Her son? It’s almost as if LEO know and they don’t want to gather any evidence. Why? She was dating the homicide Lt’s brother? You don’t say.....interesting......

Does anyone else feel the Judge has been biased against the Defense in this case? Almost every decision in this case he has ruled in the prosecution's favor? It seems that Martin is not being allowed to adequately defend himself and pose a plausible alternative. If the ultimate ruling by the jury is Guilty, I believe there will be many grounds for appeal. He ruled that they could not enter the lie detector test of the Sister, ruled that they could not mention that Joan Harmon was charged with bigamy, ruled to squash the subpoena of Joan and son, ruled they could not ask witness about possible relationship between Joan and Cal, the state lab revised the report from testing of Ed Dansereau and failed to send to the defense. It just goes on and on.... Furthermore, the actual murder charge by the state that he acted in concert with another individual to commit the murders, but they have no evidence linking and naming this individual. This case has so many holes, it is baffling to me that it actually has gone to trial.

It strongly appears that the judge’s ruling are biased. When you use the SODDI defense, you need to be able to present your evidence about the other dude, or in this case, Dude and Dudette..... the judge is completely keeping out good stuff regarding Joan Harmon. If he is not letting in statements Joan made to the AT&T lady, then the defense needs to argue the same grounds that Calvins pre-death statements were admitted. “Judge I’d ask Joan by she has taken the fifth!”

So far...unless something huge happens...it may be one of those rare times when the defense asks for a mistrial because the prosecution has not proved their case, after both sides rests...it actually may be granted...although ‘this’ judge may not.

I have to agree on the tweeter person for this case. She gives NO names... frustrating to follow her. And neither is anyone here.... oh well. :(

Many jurisdictions strictly forbid the mention of a polygraph exam. In Georgia , they are admissible, but the parties have to stipulate to the admissibility of the results prior to the test being taken. In the Military, you cannot mention a polygraph at all. I don’t know what Kentucky says. However, all of the bad information regarding Joan is relevant to rebut the inference of the question in the juror’s mind “What kind of person would kill three people to make sure her ex-husband was convicted at a Court martial?” You know the State is going to mock the defense and call their fingering Joan as the killer as absurd. But if you read a little bit about what this woman has done, it certainly raises some doubt, particularly in the absence of forensic evidence implicating Kit and the (willful?) lack of in estimation into Joan who is taking the 5th with her son....

Does anyone think Joan and son had someone else conspire to frame Martin? She really is in a relationship with a LEO's brother?

Who is Rocky , other than being one of my rottweilers.
Rocky is the 75 yo female friend of Pam who testified she was on the phone with her at about 5:30 when Pam screamed and there was dead silence.

That is the allegation by the defense. Did any other witness corroborate that?

I was unable to watch the coverage today (just caught snippets here n' there). Has it been explained (previously and/or today) as to how Joan got Pam's phone and why she took it to the store?? Was this addressed at all by either side?

Thank you, I watched her testimony but never heard her name.

I marvel at all the laughing and everyone knows each other. I watch a lot of crime shows/ court shows and they are all so serious and stodgy; kind of refreshing, really.
