I've only just started reading about this case.
I thought it would all become clear to me the more I read.

Instead I just keep getting more confused. What a cast of characters.

Every time I think I'm on the right track and it becomes clear in my mind, I learn a bit more and realise I'm right back not really knowing anything.

I am right there with you @TootsieFootsie, I am pretty lost in this case. How can there be so many - er - unique individuals in one tiny town!

Do you think he will testify?

I hope he does testify. He was a very credible person in that interview and I do hope he is found not guilty.

Furthermore, I hope he sues whomever he can sue to make himself whole since they ruined his life, reputation and his military and civilian careers and it sounds as if they also ruined his home. I an glad his fiancee has stood behind him as well as her 2 kids. After reading that article posted last night, this was a personal vendetta against him. My personal opinion.

Jury let out of courtroom after sidebar so they can discuss further

Judge wants to know when the later report was provided to defense in discovery, and if it wasn’t, why not?

As everything in this trial, it is unclear.

With only a month to go before the trial, attorneys revealed on Thursday that a new box of evidence has just been discovered.

Attorneys also added that a laptop with critical information is now corrupted and requires examination by the FBI in Quantico, Virginia.

Martin's attorney has said that he is not pleased about the evidence they have been unable to see yet but still wants the trial to begin in early June

I "assume" they received it in April (since the new phone analyses was done earlier this year). But, the report doesn't say for certain.

Hasn't it happened a couple times or more that some evidence has not been shared in discovery? One time it happens might be an accident; more times is deliberate and intentional. What happens to them? Just say"my bad" and it all goes away? I hope they don't get away with a slap on the wrist. My opinion.

I believe it was determined the defense had received the evidence but chose to use the document they did during cross.

On top of all that, they can't get witnesses scheduled the way they should. The witnesses should be lined up waiting outside; shouldn't they?
