The 71-year-old woman was last seen by her granddaughter Sunday morning. She talked with her grandchildren on the phone later that night but that was the last time someone heard from her.

Golsby had just been released from St. Elizabeth Hospital for medical treatment.

Missing Covington woman, 71, left home without insulin
Seventy-one-year-old Geraldine Golsby never leaves home without her phone, her daughter said Wednesday night. She doesn’t like cold weather. She has never shown any signs of dealing with dementia.

Her Monday morning disappearance left her family members as stunned as they were terrified. On Wednesday, they still had only scraps of information: She had told them she was going to a doctor’s appointment on a day her doctor’s office was closed, she left home without the insulin she takes daily, and she withdrew money from a U.S. Bank ATM about 30 minutes later.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Sgt. Brian Kane at 859-292-2296.
