Golden Alert issued for McCreary County woman with dementia.


McCREARY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The McCreary County Sheriff’s Department is asking for your help finding a missing woman with dementia.

A Golden Alert has been issued for Gladys Yancey, 69, of Stearns, Ky.

Officials say Mrs. Yancey left her home on Pigskin Road around 5:00 p.m. Saturday and was last seen in the Bell Farm area around 6:30 p.m.

I hope they find her I know what it's like having a family member w/dementia. Always worried something like this will happen to them, having to hide the keys and special lock on the doors 😢.
