STAFFORDSVILLE, Ky. — On October 19th, 1998, Joel and Herbert Witten, father and son, were found shot dead at their home in Johnson County. Joel was 44 at the time of his death, Herbert, a retired steel worker and children‘s book author was 77.

After nearly 20 years of investigating persons of interest, local authorities are still looking for information that could lead to the arrest of the person responsible for this tragic double homicide.
