Joseph Couch allegedly purchased an AR-15 this morning with 2000 rounds. Now he is a person of interest in a shooting that occurred at the Exit 49/KY-909 area in Laurel County, Kentucky. This is an active manhunt. Suspect considered to be armed and dangerous.

Could also be that a family member was disturbed when they found out he bought this stuff earlier today. (I hope his family is safe.)

Sure, but LE wouldn't immediately know the shooter bought the supplies this morning. The seller would.

Of course, I have no idea if the seller did call a tip. Just guessing.

I'm concerned about booby traps or some sort of plan to "go out" in way that will hurt others.

From what I can tell, the Air Evac Lifeteam continues to drop possible victims at the University of Kentucky area hospitals.

My opinion only--this is such a fluid situation; it's difficult to tell what's going on.

I agree. They were for the longest time on the north side of 75 however now they’re on the south.
