I saw that comment also when I read her myspace page. I thought of it for a quick second but then thought eh maybe its just a friend who is joking you know...then again in this case there can be no stone unturned.

I also thought that it was said in jest although his profile goes on and on about how he hates stuck up women. He sounds like an idiot. I feel certain that everyone will be investigated.

When I browsed the victim's profile, it said that she was "online." So, someone is in her profile looking at it. I was able to see her pics. She looked like a nice girl with nice children. She did seem a little too open about wanting to meet a guy, though. IMO, this would leave her open to danger.

From reading about these cases, the murders must have been committed by someone who knew her and perhaps knew the children. Why else would you kill innocent children? Plus, the burning of the place is suspicious and probably was done to cover any evidence that may have been left behind.

I feel sorry for this mother and her young children. I just do not understand people who want to harm others.

You've seen screen captures if you've read Steve Huff's blogs. You acquire them by hitting the "print screen" button, then pasting the image you captured into Paint, or Irfanview or any other image editing program you've got. This will produce an image of the page you were looking at.

Another thought, it might not be nearly as creepy as some think. There are certain "courtesies" that the MySpace culture practices. Among these "manners" expected are that if someone comments in your blog, or on your profile, that you comment back. Maybe he said hello, and she didn't say hi back, so he called her on it? He might have meant it to be more "good natured ribbing" but we can't see that intent in the cold print?

ETA: *looks at profile* Though, after looking over his profile, maybe it's that he's super sensitive and sees insult (where none may be intended) and goes on the assualt to defend his "hurt honor"? What a jerk he is!

All, this guy sets my hinkymeter off like you wouldn't believe, BUT -- he could just be an a-hole. No laws against that.

If you're interested, here's a link to a google cache of his profile -- he made major changes to the profile between May 4 and May 9:

http://snipurl.com/garyray9141978

Like I said, he's probably just another creepy dude on the Web, but you do tend to ask yourself questions after looking at the changes made in his page.

I'm erring on the side of being careful in finding him suspicious because he does seem to throw the same attitude at every woman. Bet he sits around wondering why he doesn't get dates, too.

I'll tell you what vibes I get from him: he screams "abuser" to this survivor. I'm not kidding, the attitude he is expressing, in this:

the about me section of the guy's MySpace profile said:
i dont like girls thats so damn stuck up they need to be brought down to earth where the belong your no better then a pile of dog 🤬🤬🤬🤬 thats what you are when you think your better then every one a big pile of 🤬🤬🤬🤬

is scary to me. I mean as in a "burning beds" type, who wants to make sure women don't get above their station. He's no one a girl should get involved with, for sure. A lot of anger, and hair trigger offense-o-meter with a swift reprisal ready for any insult too.

ETA: Here's another link to his profile, which Mygirlsadie kindly supplied on page one in post 21.

The dude says he's unemployed, but makes $250,000 a year and only has a high school education. He's also got some issues with punctuation. I found it very amusing.

Alot of these murder cases/ missing cases are related to victims who had myspace accounts. People really need to be educated about what to put on the web and what not to. It's like a directory for perverts and sickos to find future victims. Many people set their profiles to private, yet still add people they don't know. I would definitely hope the local LE is checking out that man's myspace page. He sounds like he hates women in general and all of the victims were female..

This is the last I'll say about Mr. "don't mess with the police" for now -- I just realized that Chesapeake, OH, his listed city of residence, is basically right across the river from Huntington, W. VA. and only 31 miles or so from Grayson. The Ohio location threw me until I looked at Google maps.

He was a state away, but actually very close by.

But again, the caveat: he could just be an a-hole.

I had trouble getting the profile to open up very well, but this guy seems to have only female friends on his list and some look pretty young and just responding to comments that he has made about them.

The combination of police cruisers, masogynistic statements, drug associated pictures, and cached Freddy Kruger icon's is really creepy with this guy. I got "the feeling" the minute I saw his comment on her MySpace. Chesapeake, Ohio appears to be relatively close to Grayson, Kentucky off of I-64. I truly think the real LE needs to talk to this guy.

Holy cow, with the exception of one person, everyone out of the 136 people on his friends list is a female. Trust me, that screams red flag in the MySpace world. This guy is definitely an azz and that fact that any female would "knowingly" accept him as a friend is nuts. The thing is, wacko's ask to be your friend all of the time on MySpace and most people, myself included, just delete their requests. The problem is that a lot of girls accept everybody just so they can have a lot of "friends"; stupid, I know. I went through some of his friends profiles and looked at their comments and this guy is aggressive and most certainly stalker material. With the exception of a neice, I don't think any of these girls is really his friend in the outside world. Seriously, if I was a single woman posting on MySpace about how much I wanted to meet that special person, blah, blah, blah, I wouldn't get past the first sentence on his profile before I said NEXT. Who knows if he has anything to do with this murder, but if I were LE I would definitely find out his alibi for that night.

I live in Huntington, W.V. now. I used to live in Portsmouth, OH. I used to live in Atlanta, GA. I did a LOT of commuting back and forth.

Route 52 runs along the Ohio river. The exits will take to W.V., KY. and OH. One of the exits is for Ashland, KY. It will take you over one of the bridges crossing the Ohio river. If you keep going straight through Ashland, you will end up in Grayson at I-64. A very simple and straight shot.

Cabell Huntington Hospital is very close to me and I am there at least once a week. It was very subdued there today.

HITCHINS, Ky. (AP) -- A woman and two children found dead in a house fire were remembered by family and friends as a dutiful mother and hospital worker and as fun-loving children.

<snip>

Tackett said that Lawrence Ison, Ison's ex-husband and the father of the two girls, is a long-distance truck driver and was out of town Wednesday.

The ex-husbands alibi should be pretty easy to confirm which would rule him out as a suspect.

Some trucking companies use GPS to keep track of their drivers. Hope that's so in this case, if he works for one.

Thanks for the info, Shadow.

Crap. I'm honestly dizzy right now. I only read the first post (halfway) but I know a Jennifer in Kentucky who just had gastric bypass and who has a 10 year old step-daughter. That scared the heck out of me for real. It can't be her because she doesn't have a 4 year old. Wow. That takes me right back to my days as a reporter, where we'd still go to traffic accidents, and I saw a car like one of my co-workers (special model). Wasn't him either. Always was one of my worst worries, something like that (and this). Whew. Off to catch a breath.

She may have been becoming a stronger person due to her weight loss. I've heard of marriages ending because one person lost a lot of weight and "changed".

Maybe her ex didn't like the changes?

There's a Larry Ison listed as a "minister" (not THE minister of the church but one of several apparently) at a local church. I wonder if there's any relation.

I noticed a couple of photo's on the jerk's myspace appear to be women in nurse scrubs or hospital settings?? Maybe he worked in the same hospital as her!!??

This is sad.

''Troopers are currently conducting interviews with several individuals based off information received from the public.'' I got that out of one of the articles from her hometown newspaper. I hope that means they may have a person or persons of interest?
