The search continues in Knox County for the body of a man last seen in June after the arrests of two men in the case last week.

Bobby Ray Walters, 64, and Daniel Grubb, 23, were arrested Thursday at their homes in Woodbine. Both are charged with tampering with physical evidence in the June 12, 2008 disappearance of Jeremy Johnson. Johnson was last seen at the former Angels and Wings Sports Bar in Corbin.

In July 2008, Johnson's Chevy Cavalier was found on Kentucky 459 just four miles from his home.

Police are still investigating Johnson's disappearance. Anyone with information is asked to call Kentucky State Police.

Human remains found

Police believe they have found Jeremy Johnson’s body

Police found human remains buried off a dirt road in Knox County on Friday, but they have yet to positively identify them as belonging to Jeremy Johnson, who has been missing since last summer...

...“It takes a long time for (DNA) to come back because there’s such a backlog, but if she’s able to, she can use dental records and identify it right away,” Meachum said.
