- Left upper arm: 4” linear scar
- Right forearm just proximal to ulnar portion of wrist: 3" vertical scar
- Left lower leg anterior, midway between knee and ankle: 2.5" irregular scar

Tattoos
- Right upper arm laterally is a 4" by 1.25" faded tattoo of a design with several words. the word 'mother' is identified. The other words may be 'in memory'
- Right forearm posteriorly is a 2" by 1" faded crude tattoo of the letters 'MH'
- Left forearm anteriorly is a 1.5" by 1.5" faded tattoo of a design with the word 'Helen'

Clothing: Dirty blue jeans, black belt, plaid shirt, 2 wool socks, worn brown shoes with heels worn off and holes worn through the soles.

Circumstances of Discovery
The victim was found in the woods near Locust Pike Park by two park employees.

Onychogryphosis (Ram’s Horn Nails)
Onychogryphosis is a nail disease that causes one side of the nail to grow faster than the other. The nickname for this disease is ram’s horn nails because the nails are thick and curvy, like horns or claws. Onychogryphosis mostly affects the toes — specifically the big toes.

If you have onychogryphosis, your nails will look: yellow or brown, unusually thick, long (extending beyond the toe) and curved.
Causes include: foot trauma (wearing shoes that are too small for your feet), fungal infection, psoriasis, peripheral vascular disease, tuberous sclerosis complex or ichthyosis. I suspect the first cause given the condition of his shoes/socks.

Another good find! I wish there were photos of the tattoos too! Kenneth fits pretty well. I wonder how he would have ended up in KY, or where he could have ended up. I think if he could be tied somehow to the tattoos, Helen or MH, that’d be even better.

If the one tattoo is a memorial to his mother, I wonder if Helen is his mother’s name? Or part of the MH...or if MH are part of his initials. Or none of the above.
