Kentucky State Police say they have located human remains in the Hinkle community of Knox County.

Police received a call from a man who said he had found partial human remains on his property on Kentucky 1304 Sunday morning.

Police found more remains and called in the Knox County Search and Rescue team to assist with the investigation.

The Knox County Coroner was notified and the remains were gathered and sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy and identification.

The Knox County Coroner Office has identified the human remains belonging Willie Hobbs, according to coroner.

Officials say the autopsy revealed no trauma and no foul play is suspected at this time.
