BLANTON SENTENCED
Blanton, 30, pleaded guilty to all charges including two counts of murder and two counts of tampering with evidence.

As part of Blanton's plea agreement he received life in prison without parole on each of the murder charges, five years for each of the tampering with evidence charges and 10 years for enhancement of counts one and two.

LE and townsfolk are saying they are shocked that he plead guilty. I say- Of Course he did! He avoided the death penalty that way.

Still I am glad that he admits he did- so that the Blanton's family members can put this behind them and be spared a long drawn out trial with all the details.
