Hardin Co. dad accused of running over daughter over dog dispute
55-year-old Charles Rakes and his daughter got into an argument over his dog getting out of his truck at her home.
A witness told police Rakes then got into his pickup truck and intentionally struck his daughter and ran over her legs.
He then backed over her and drove over her again prior to leaving the scene, according to the arrest warrant.
He also reportedly threatened her with a pry bar or a lug wrench. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries. Her condition is unknown.
