Two arrested in Middlesboro child abuse case

Middlesboro Police say two people are facing charges in a child abuse case.

Officers say an investigation revealed Ricky North and Nichole North intentionally abused Ricky’s 5-year-old child on numerous occasions.

Punching and slapping him in the head and face. Chocking and body slamming him onto the ground. Holding up in the air by ankles and slamming his head into the ground.

They were arraigned March 31st and each are held on $100,000 bond.
