Here’s a missing woman whose date of last contact was recently updated on Charley Project (not sure what it was previously). She fits the description and circumstances although I’m not sure if it’s reasonable to believe she was taken from Montana, killed, and left in Kentucky. But I figure she’s worth mentioning.

Frances Collier Ewalt – The Charley Project

Missing from Forsyth, Montana since August 19, 1973. She was 24 years old, 5’6”, 165 lbs., red hair and blue eyes. According to The Charley Project:

Details of Disappearance
Ewalt was last seen at the Agate Bar on Main Street in Forsyth, Montana at 11:00 p.m. on August 19, 1973. She left a female friend there and said she was going to see her brother, a nightclub musician. She never visited her brother and has never been heard from again.

Ewalt left behind her car, purse, clothing, paycheck, and her three sons. She had a trust fund from her grandfather, but has not accessed it or any of her other bank accounts since she went missing. At the time of her disappearance, she was in the process of a divorce and was working at the Century Club in Forsyth, Montana. She worked as a cocktail waitress at the Century Club in Forsyth.

Little evidence is available as to Ewalt's fate, but her family believes she met with foul play, as it is uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning. Her case remains unsolved.

If we follow I-65 then you could also be looking at someone transported from TN or IN. It's only 50-something miles from Cave City to the TN border.

I called the contact, a woman, about her. She didn't seem interested. I should probably write it out more seriously related some key aspects of the UID and how they related to our missing person.

Just want to note a new entry in NamUs on this JD thread as details of MP Elizabeth Collison might not be that far off. She was reported to be 5’6”, 140-175 with brown hair. She was wearing a grey and white summer dress.

She drove a 1972 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo which I believe was a GM product. It was abandoned in a bank parking lot which is about 3 hours from where JD was found in KY.

PMI states “months” and JD was found 16 months after Elizabeth went missing so may be a little too long. No mention of a missing tooth and hair color red/auburn vs brown.
