Criminal abuse arrest:

Laurel Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Gary Mehler along with Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards arrested Tiffany Rae Owens age 23 Of Philpot Rd., London on Friday afternoon August 24, 2018 at approximately 3:03 PM. The arrest occurred off Philpot Road, approximately 2 miles south of London after Sheriff's detectives went to a residence there attempting to locate a male subject on felony warrants. Upon arrival at the residence detectives knocked on the front door of the apartment where Tiffany Owens opened the door and was observed holding a male child identified as her three-year-old son. This individual allowed detectives into the residence to search for the individual wanted on warrants where they observed items of drug paraphernalia throughout the residence including a glass meth smoking device, a marijuana bong, four hypodermic needles two were uncapped, spoons containing a white substance believed to be methamphetamine. Several of the items of paraphernalia were within reach of the three-year-old child. Tiffany Owens admitted smoking methamphetamine as recently as two days prior. Detectives noted that she is currently seven months pregnant. This individual was charged with criminal abuse – first-degree – child 12 or under and possession of drug paraphernalia and was lodged in the Laurel County detention Center. Sickening. I’m glad this happened. Hopefully unborn baby is ok. Pray they go to a great family. Hope mom gets her head straight

Sadly, her lifestyle and habits are why so many babies are born
with lifelong physical and/or mental defects. Even is addicted baby is treated at birth for the addiction, the brain and body
are usually forever affected.
