The son of a missing man in Clay County is offering a $50,000 reward for information about his father’s whereabouts.

Family asks for help in missing loved one.
Anyone with video cameras on Ky. 149, and U.S. 421 and Ky. 66 in the Big Creek area is asked to review their footage and see if Mr. Estep is on their surveillance. You are also asked to look for any vehicle that may be hauling a red ATV.

That’s a hefty reward, IMO.
It’s worrisome that they have not been able to find his ATV either. Possibly an accident of some kind in his way to the woods??

Possibly, but foul play is likely as well. Goodness knows whose path he might have crossed out in the woods.:( The ATV plus whatever guns/gear Mr. Estep had with him are worth thousands. I hope like heck he's camping though. :)

There aren't any updates on Mr. Estep's well-being. I can't imagine he'd be hunting or camping this long without getting in touch with his family. Where are you, Bob?:(

Came across this article. It mentions Mr. Estep.

Clay County Coroner Jarrod Becknell says it could be months before the human remains found on Little Creek may be identified.

Since 2016, four people in Clay County have been reported missing and never found.
Angela Smith, 30
Cecil Burkhart, 30
David Campbell, 49
Makayla Collett, 21

And then the article mentions:

It’s sad that Mr. Bob hasn’t been found yet. I wish there were some sort of lead like his atv or a gun being found...something...anything. :(

Who Will It Be?

On December 15, 2020, Robert “Bob” Estep, 69, left his home to go deer hunting off Ky. 149 at Hector and was never heard from again.

Coroner Jarrod Becknell says he expects to have the results on the skull at any time.

“Like the other skull, they are performing rapid DNA testing,” he said.

Ronald Estep, son of Robert “Bob” Estep, says he doesn’t feel the other skull will be his father and he feels more could be done in his dad’s disappearance.

“I don’t feel that all is being done by the ones over the case and they won’t allow other agencies to help,” he said. “The only way we’ll ever find what happened to dad is for someone to just come out and say it, I feel people close to this case are scared to ask the right questions because they’re afraid something will happen to them or their family, that’s just my opinion.”
