As the search continues for a missing central Kentucky woman, her relatives are asking people to be vigilant around their own property.

“We’re asking people… to think back around July 3 and if anything comes to mind about that night (and) anything they might have see,” Warner’s cousin Tammy Mattingly said. “We want people to take some time to search their property. Anything would be so helpful.”

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Family and searchers are asking the public to keep an eye out as they continue to search for a missing Northern Kentucky woman.

Crystal Warner and her boyfriend Bobby Jones went missing in early July. They were last seen in Springfield.

"The circumstances are horrible. Uniquely horrible," said Jennifer Jordan Hall, director of KY K9. Her Parson Russell Terriers, Scout, Remy, and Pocket, have been helping in the search.

In August, Jones' body was found along a highway in Clark County, just a few steps from the interstate. There had been several searches in the area, but Hall said the find came down to luck.

"That's actually how about Bobby was found - by the public. Somebody was looking for cans," she said.

Hall thinks that's how they'll find Warner's body too. She said they're looking at a big area - the I-64 corridor from Lawrenceburg to Carter County, and maybe south into Berea.

Accused killer Craig Pennington's lawyer announced in court Wednesday that another specialized lawyer will be joining their defense team.

Prosecutors say a great deal of evidence has already been turned over to Craig Pennington's lawyers, but the defense team says that they still don't have all the facts.
