The Somerset Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person which has resulted in a Golden Alert being issued.

Ruth Bowcock, 49, was last seen leaving on foot from 280 W. Hwy. 80 in Somerset around 6 a.m. Jan. 17. She is described as being 5’1” in height, weighing around 100 pounds, and having brown eyes and hair.

Bowcock was last seen wearing a dark gray pea coat, dark hoodie and dark pants. She was carrying a bag of clothes and an air mattress.
