Maybe....if someone was waiting to pick her up.....

And if the house has a land line, she might have used that instead of her own phone. Or maybe before she left the night before she arranged with a friend to meet her. I can think of several possibile scenarios.

I think they're significantly less likely than other possibilities, but I just don't see any evidence to rule anything out.

I can see no logical reason the two people she went to the bar with have not been named unless. Dad says SS has been making horrible decisions lately. The plot thickens.

I'm trying to envision the plausibility of "all three" males waving "bye-bye" to Savannah as she trucked on down the lonely country road or her waking up that morning and "all three" males were just snoozing away in the living room as she stole one of their hoodies and took off......

Was one the last to see hear alive?
Were two the last to see her alive?
Were three the last to see her alive?

She could have called someone, and left before he woke up.

Then there's this.

"After weeks of investigations and thousands of tips from the community, it was a neighbor’s home security camera footage that helped detectives arrest a suspect in the death of missing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts." Neighbor's Security Footage Helped Detectives Crack Mollie Tibbetts Case, Investigator Says

Yes, I followed her case closely on here. You definitely don't have to convince me that checking security cameras is a good idea. I just have strong faith that they're already doing it and just can't share it with the public right now.

I’ll just say just because SS phone made it to the home in Garrard County, it doesn’t necessarily mean that ss did ....imo

A good point. LE sounds like they're convinced she was there, but...

I really think the men could have done something. I just don't understand why they would take that risk after SS Facetimed her mom. To me, it looks like they would have realized she had seen them and could possibly identify them later. MOO.

I keep thinking of cases where the person was killed and the searchers didn't find their body in the initial search but found them later in the same place they'd been looking earlier. It does seem to happen a lot. Kristy Cornwell was out for a twilight stroll and on their phone with her bf when she was abducted. Searchers supposedly covered the area with a fine tooth comb, but it was her brother who found her phone in the same area later. And much later he found her body. Sometimes things ARE overlooked.

<modsnipped not victim friendly; unfounded speculation>Her own father said she was making horrible decisions right before her death.

But with that said they should still have respect for her family and tell them what happened.

I keep thinking of cases where the person was killed and the searchers didn't find their body in the initial search but found them later in the same place they'd been looking earlier. It does seem to happen a lot. Kristy Cook was out for a twilight stroll and on their phone with her bf when she was abducted. They searched for Alfred Wright Jr for 18 days. Found 200' from where he was last seen.

Safe?....Who knows? Yesterday, My daughter and her friend drive past an intersection where just five minutes before, a state trooper killed (in a shootout) two individuals he chased from Gallatin County.....

Yes.

John Glasgow, too. He was found not far at all from where they were looking. Jesse Capen, Brian Histand, and David Riemens, too. It's because of some of these that I am not discounting her being in an accident and, disoriented, wandering off and eventually dying.

It's not that I absolutely think that happened, but I'm not discounting too many ideas right now.

Maybe those guys did not intend to take her back to their place. It's possible she could have passed out in the back seat and then they didn't know what to do with her? Did she even tell them where her car was?

This is just really sad.

Am I the only one who finds it a bit unusual, and frankly disappointing, that there apparently is no reward of any size at all for any helpful information in this case? I realize that rewards don't often provide key tips, but sometimes they do, and the lack of any reward seems to speak to the general lack of concern for this young woman's well-being. JMO

Welcome to WS. Here is a link to WS info that really helped me when I joined. I learned the hard way and didn't read any of it at first so thought if you didn't see the info yet it might be helpful.
