IDK....If Lancaster is north of all this, then this pond appears to be south down Fall Lick

I was looking at the map and thought the pond being searched was the one South of the chapel and noticed the bigger one North. They're searching the pond North of the chapel, the larger one.

Sure hope I'm right with this and not mixing others up. Really sure I'm right after watching video.

Just as much a possibility as someone attempting to dispose of her remains if foul play is involved.

I hope SS is found and returned to her family to be laid to rest if she is in fact deceased. I cannot imagine never knowing where my child is for years.

I'm hoping that someone finally phoned in a credible tip anonymously pointing them in the right direction.

Imo, others know what happened to Savannah, and where her body may be discarded.

If this involves young people they tend to not be able to keep their mouth shut forever.

It can take some time for those who knows things to get up enough courage to make that tip call.

I pray they will finally find this poor young woman's body.

It's more likely someone hid her body there. Imo

Not saying its the case. but there was a case on here a couple years ago where a young woman left her car after she ran into a guardrail walked a couple of miles and succumbed to the elements in an abandoned cemetery.

I like Betsey too, especially her luggage & backpacks. I have at least a couple of most brands of handbags at all times & I’m constantly pricing them. I buy & resell new & used handbags. I just can’t seem to place this brand.

Just to be clear, this is the same church as the one that most have been referring to as Lawson’s chapel. Also they really give you a great sense of the area and it’s topography

Yes, it can happen. I hadn't heard of that one but I know there is another case where a young women left her car on the side of the road and then disappeared and I don't think they ever found her. A neighbor stopped to ask if she needed help and she declined, but he called 911 anyway. When they got there she was gone. I forget her name but I don't think they ever found out what happened to her.
I hope this isn't what happens in this case.
But I'm thinking they have an idea of what happened. They must have some evidence, or maybe a tip, that led to this search.
If someone confessed, does anybody know if they would withhold that information until a body is found?
I know in the Mollie Tibetts case her body was recovered first and then it was announced.
But if someone confessed, I would think they would have found her in the first place they looked.

I get the search pond to be about 1.3 miles from the warrant house. Map: C-church, P-pond, W-warrant house; all on Fall Lick Road.

Problem for me is that it is uphill, albeit gradual. Then the pond is even more uphill through the brush/woods. And there are fences along the road most of the way.

If she set off on foot, she would have a sense to walk the easiest way (downhill slope) and towards the brighter lights of Lancaster. IMO.

Someone disposing of a body from the warrant house would do the opposite. They would drive directly away from Lancaster along Fall Lick Road in the direction of the chapel, IMO.

If she is in the pond, she was put there.

Anyway, when they showed her bag, did they say what brand it was? If it was a popular brand I would think they would have mentioned it.

IIRC, it was around 30-40 degrees that night & her coat was left in her mom’s car. She definitely looked very cold.

They didn’t say a brand. I don’t think it is a popular, “name brand”. They only mentioned the rose gold colored iPhone.
