No remains found yet. Then why is the coroner there?

Guessing the son turned himself in and there's a body buried nearby. Just my guess. IMO.

Looks like they are focusing on a specific area of the property IMO
Someone must have talked. Otherwise how would they know a specific area to look? I’ll be anxiously awaiting the news.

A federal law was broken most likely.
I’m going to go with 1) crossing state borders or 2) drug trafficking.

Just my opinion based on why the FBI is usually brought in on homicides.

I'm surprised that they were permitted to enter the property if they are waiting on a search warrant to be signed

My guess is that the owner of the home allowed them there after being told her remains are there. I think we all assume that there has been a confession. MOO

From the pictures I’ve seen it looks like they are near the barn area.
