The Richmond Police Department is searching for 22-yar old Savannah Spurlock. Savannah was last seen on Friday, 1/4/2019 leaving The Other Bar located at 319 S. Limestone in Lexington, KY. Savannah was last seen leaving the bar with an unknown black male and an unknown white male. The Richmond Police Department is seeking the identity and whereabouts of these two individuals. Man arrested in connection to Savannah Spurlock case

David Sparks was taken into custody and charged with tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse. Kentucky State Police say that human remains were found on a property in Garrard County. Officers were at a home on Fall Lick Road overnight in relation to the disappearance of Savannah Spurlock

The remains were found just before midnight. They are waiting on an autopsy for a positive ID.

KSP confirmed that it was a tip that led them to the home. They would not give specific details about that tip. The tip was received around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

They said the property belongs to the parents of one of the suspects who troopers believe was one of the three people who Spurlock was last seen with.

Investigators were focused on the back of the home. Around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, investigators officially started their search. The FBI's evidence response team was at the scene. Law enforcement officers were seen carrying out a large container.

Sparks' arrest citation says a man called his attorney Wednesday to report a foul odor coming from his property. Troopers said that information, in addition to the fact that Sparks "is the primary suspect in a missing persons investigation," led investigators to search the property.

The human remains were found buried on the property. Troopers said other items of evidence were found with the remains. "These items were last known to be in the control of only two individuals, the missing person, and the above," Sparks' citation reads.

Suspect is 24 years old. Warrant was to search his family member's home - probably his parents.

The home on Fall Lick Road was searched once before. Richmond police searched the home and towed away a car on Jan. 22.Sparks lives at the home and was one of the last people to be with Spurlock.
