Since the three men have told the police where they last saw SS, LE would have judged the credibility of their statement. They executed a search warrant for the home of one of the men & towed a car. I don't think they believe their story.

NOTE: I have seen nothing that has said SS used drugs so 100% random thoughts based on cases I have seen.

1) Someone slipped something into her drink. If they knew her they may have offered her something (which she refused) to help her relax from pregnancy hiatus, not getting out after birth of babies, etc. In the of minds of those she was with they may have crazily thought they were helping her and put something in her drink. The affects of the alcohol /drug mix eventually stopped her heart. They panicked and hid her.
2) Recreational drug user clean for 10 months finally getting out. Alcohol & bad drugs or overdoing it led to death. Guys she was with panicked and hid her.
I don't believe there is anything to show SS had a drug problem (and it wouldn't affect how precious her life is) but having worked in a rehabilitation/incarceration facility we had a few women that did well in the program, were released, and overdosed because they tried to use the same amount of drugs they used prior which can be lethal after being clean. This also happened a few weeks ago to a young combat vet in my area.
Many more scenarios but all similar.
Random thoughts not even opinion, pure speculation
ETA missing words

Oh I definitely can relate. It took me nearly a whole year to bounce back after having all 3 of my children so I definitely understand that childbirth alters a woman’s body significantly. I think the main difference that I see is when I look at these 2 pictures side by side that are both from the neck up, they don’t even remotely appear to be the same person IMO. I’m sure it’s lighting and angle as well as facial expressions. It just struck me as odd!
To me I see the same person, but one pregnant or postpartum and the other 18. The blonde vs brown I get because you aren’t supposed to dye your hair pregnant. The weight difference, especially in the face, also makes sense to me. It’s one of the first places women show their pregnancy and it slowly goes back to normal after. Some women have changes to their face shape, nose shape and get fuller lips. IMO it is just an awkward time for her to go missing and need current photos because she probably was steadily losing baby weight and if there was even a remote chance that she left on her own, she might change her hair back to blonde as she prefers ASAP. MOO

The nose, mouth and under eyes look the same to me. Her eyes look different but thinking that is because of facial expression and lack of eye make up?

I was thinking absolutely the same thing and I felt crazy. When I compare the photos of her that we have seen, I can't hardly believe they are all of the same person. I am sure they are, I am not questioning that, I am just stating that it is difficult to look at a photo and identify when she has so many different looks.

I agree. Unless searching the face I wouldn't think it was the same person.

Well, the weather has started turning ugly, this evening. Hope Cajun can still search.
Maybe we’ll get news soon, her mom sure needs it.
IMO, her mom is confused, like us.
I’m from Louisiana where the Cajun rescue team is located. We’re very use to wet and humid weather but it only snows about every 10 yrs and only a inch or so. Hopefully the team has trained in cold and snow. I wish them luck. This momma needs to be brought home.

Omg, it’s sooooo cold here! I grew up on Lake MI but I really can’t recall this Polar Vortex stuff. Maybe, because I was younger. We have no snow, the winds are roaring. I worry for the dog. People can dress.

Climate is night and day for sure. From the video CCSR put out the Capt. stated he had mountain recovery experience so that's good. He also said they were figuring out what was needed to counter the cold weather inclusive of protecting the dogs paws against frostbite. They have been tracking the weather intensely. Didn't post a link as I am unsure if it is against TOS. The video and others are shown on their site.

Are we allowed to share posts directly from the Cajun Coasts search and rescue FB site?

She definitely has the same pretty smile in all the photos. It’s hard to ID someone in public by just the mouth though. And she probably wouldn’t be smiling like that just being out and about.

Thank you. Wasn't sure after reading TOS so I did what I was told to do in past and report my post and ask the question. Hate bothering the mods though. Appreciate your answer!

You’re welcome! Just stay away from psychic SARs - those are definitely not allowed! :D

Since this is an official search and rescue site from Canada you can link to the site. Please don't copy and paste all their posts. You can post a quick general description of what the post says then link to it.
Hope that makes sense.

Searcher from CCRS buying some cold weather gear for his search dog. Hadn't thought about it but they probably couldn't have gotten that gear from Louisiana. Grateful for updates and for helping search! Bring SS home! Pic linked to CCSR site

Awwww! Wonder how he’s going to like those booties if he’s not used to them. My dog hated them! :p
