I hope they find her but there's a possibility that she won't be found. I hope that's not what is happening here because the case just kind of sits in the ether. If the guys did something to her, or someone else that we don't even know about, they had at LEAST a 48 hour head start. Hopefully whoever was with her that night is stupid enough to slip up and say something (if something nefarious happened).

The two images of the search personnel in the linked article are taken in front of a property down Perkins Lane a ways from the searched property.

I have shown this on the attached map: W-search warrant property, S- search team area, Arrow- direction that images were taken. The house and barn that are seen in background of the images are circled.

So do they have information leading them to start searching there? Or is it a private property issue and this is the closest rendezvous point? I dunno...

If I had a hunch, I think she was picked up in the early morning by someone local-and not someone on their way to I-75 for a Florida vacation. I grew up in a rural area much like Garrard C0. and I knew every nook, cranny, fish pond, barn, field and lovers lane within a pretty good radius of where I was raised. Wherever she is, it is in an out of the way place well off the beaten path....

She's only in that search zone if she did in fact take off walking, in a drunken fog, and got hypothermia and died. If she o.d.'d on them, or something else bad happened, she's not that close, and maybe that's what they were ruling out.

I just wanted to say I've had Savannah 's loved ones on my mind all day. Her mother, sister, uncle that contacted the search team and of course her dear babies who need their mother.
Being the mother of daughter's I just can't imagine what it would be like to wait while a search team looks for one of my daughters.
My heart breaks for you.

I think you are right. Police were told by the man in the surveillance pic, car taken by LE, and whose parents house was searched; that she left by foot. Now they can be pretty confident that she didn't succumb in that area and/or the man lied. Hoping they find evidence in the car if he was involved. I think SS's mother is right and someone knows something. If it had anything to do with the any one of the 3 men or one is suspicious of another and they haven't spoken up time & pressure will get to them. The mother originally stated there was a man and woman in the car during the facetime call. May mean nothing that she changed that to say she couldn't really see but I wonder if LE wants to keep that under wraps. Just spewing out thoughts. JMO

According to her mom SS was in the front seat with a black guy & 2 people were in the back. My guess 1 of the guys was dropped off to retrieve his vehicle & he then followed SS & the other 2 guys in his vehicle.

Brain is running on empty so I'm just tossing thoughts around. Not sure if they have said what time surveillance pics with 2 men were taken but possibly SS called mom once they got in car around 3am. The 3rd man was recorded leaving in a truck. Stranger things have happened but why would the 3rd man end up back in the car with them? Still wondering about a woman being mentioned by mom but changed to not being able to see because it was dark. Is there an unknown person that was with them? If there was I would think LE knows. Speculative questions. JMO

The time stamp was either 232am or 234am. I can't remember which one. Her mom said something about possibly hearing a female's voice but she wasn't sure. She mentioned not being able to see good because it was dark. I'd also wondered if maybe she saw the guy with long hair and just mistook him for a female since it was dark.

The s10 is a pretty small truck with no real backseat to speak of so unless there was a mystery 4th person, they all 3 were probably in the white car at some point. She could've left in the white car straight from the parking garage. There had to have been a car swap at some point for all of them to be in the same car. I need to go look back at the article and see what time her mom called because it takes longer than 30 minutes to get to Lancaster from Lexington, typically. I do for sure remember the article saying that one guy left in the truck and the second car left from the same location and followed the truck. I don't know why that was never captured on the surveillance video unless there's a reason LE was keeping that from the public.

The aunt in Ohio is the person who said that LE told Mom, that SS left on foot, from one of the men's homes in GC. There is usually some shred of truth in most statements to LE. Why would they be searching in that area? On the road behind the home? Why would an anon tip come in about Cedar Creek Lake? It's barely 10 miles from where they searched today, if you follow that lane. Zero knowledge of anything. Just pondering.

Personally I think LE has a lot of information but no Savannah. I never felt that way in Jaymes disappearance.
I think they have enough to know where she last was and who she was last with. Whittling it down to see if she was harmed or indeed did walk away.
They are pretty specific in the areas they are searching and not asking for the public's help which could also be due to the weather .
Did she succumb to the weather? Did she call somebody and they harmed her or was it a strange encounter like Mollie tibbets?D
I hope and pray they have contacted all of those farmhouses looking for video!

R~the younger crowd in downtown Lex area were saying the same thing, “she left on foot”, I agree, otherwise, I think we’d have an arrest. KSP are quite proficient, imo.

Was about to sign off when I saw your post. Made me look for more info :eek:. I am seeing different times for FaceTime call but all around 2:30-3:00am. This article gives the surveillance time as well. Can't shake the feeling there is a 4th person (male or female) but not sure why. What reason would the original 3 men end up getting back in the same car and SS being OK with the plan. I can't help but think she was under the influence or tricked. While I know that may seem to be naive thinking SS is the victim no matter what occurred.

"She talked to her mom at about 2:30 a.m. when she was leaving the bar and told her she would be home in a few hours,” Moore told the Herald-Leader. “That’s the last time she talked to her. She’s always been very good about letting her parents know if she’s staying out late, for them not to worry about her.”

The surveillance footage that shows Spurlock leaving the bar is timestamped 2:34 a.m."

Anonymous tip? I missed that.

I have no idea what SS does in her free time but when I was her age, I was known to ride around on chief routes lol that's really the only reason I can think of every one piling into one car. Unless she maybe did get a ride back to her car and something happened there. There could definitely be a 4th person that we just don't know about.
