Just reading between the lines a bit. Sounds like Mom found a new (May 2020) boyfriend and later isolated herself and Serenity from the extended family. It's scary when we hear about a new relationship, there are times that doesn't bode well for a child. There's only one reason a parent would refuse to produce a child to law enforcement

And unfortunately, Serenity is at that age where she isn't observed by teachers or classmates. Hopefully LE can find somebody - a doctor, neighbor, friend of Mom's - who has seen her since June 2021 to narrow down the timeline. MOO

IMO, we will see movement soon. Individuals are coming forward with information that the couple did not have Serenity with them the past seven months.

This is so heartbreaking. It’s time for a change, so many of our children are being treated like they are disposable. There are just way too many children that disappear or worse in a single week. So very sad.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The mother of a 4-year-old Kentucky girl who's been missing for more than a year was arrested in Kansas, along with her boyfriend.

According to online jail documents, Catherine McKinney and Dakota Hill were booked into the Thomas County Sheriff's Office in Kolby, Kansas, on Sunday.

Capt. Blake Lisby of the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said the pair were arrested on a Shelby County warrant for a charge of Custodial Interference.
