This is the 6pm update. However, reporter Leigh Searcy had a sit down interview with CC, I can’t find a video yet.
New to me in video is Sheena’s teen daughter texted Sheena after Sheena left Vday evening, but got no response. I had not heard anyone tried to contact her that evening. I only heard “we assumed she left with boyfriend when she didn’t come back in.” Hopefully someone can find the video interview. Moo

FYI, JH is still in the Scott County Detention Center with the same charges he was initially arrested on. He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow @1pm.

Evidently LE is unable to link JH to Sheena’s disappearance, at this point.
I think she was not seen on Phoenix video, or we would know, as that would be the last know sighting, rather than the trailer, imo.
It would be interesting to know what time the daughter texted S Vday evening.
I hope S’s dad & brother are holding up well, I haven’t found any comments from either.

Just such a sad story, another missing woman.....
Normally when Gtown makes the news there will be an outpouring of help. No help for this case. Not one church or biz has stepped forward. So unlike our community.

IF Joe is involved, I can only think Sheena had plans for him to pick her up, after doing so something went horribly wrong immediately, with Joe getting rid of her somewhere off the bypass area. IF so, I think he returned to Phoenix terminal to sleep in his truck, then somehow ended up firing his weapon. Possibly fiddling with his gun in the dark, and shooting himself in the wrist. Idk if he’s left/right handed but he could have had the gun in his left hand and accidentally discharged it, striking his wrist.
I don’t think Sheena was at a Phoenix, it seems to me LE would know by now from the security system. Maybe his wrist was bleeding profusely so he felt it necessary to head to the hospital & quickly hatched his fake robbery/gunshot victim story. I doubt he intentionally shot himself to establish an alibi. Possibly he slept in his truck a lot. The Pilot truck stop at the corner heading towards Phoenix rents showers to truckers. It’s a full service truck stop.
I think Joe might use a Richmond address of a friend or relative so he did not have to be RSO in Gtown. In Richmond, people would not be as familiar with him, imo.
Here, LE might have recognized him due to the domestic issues we’ve heard of. Jmo

LEX 18 dove into Hicks criminal history and found previous convictions in multiple counties for offenses such as, failing to comply as a registered sex offender, harassing communications and violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO.

Ugh! Sex offenders are not good boyfriends. Ugh!

there is a finite number of places he could have left her per the timeline. Figure appx 25 minutes from the trailer park to the trucking terminal, l& he left there 8 minutes before arriving at Speedway. If the sister is correct on Sheena leaving at 7:30, that leaves appx one hour unaccounted for. Moo

Thank God he has been indicted, I was worried he was going to get out on his current charges when it was so obvious he did something to Sheena. But very sad that apparently she has indeed been murdered. Her poor kids and family.

I think LE has a very good lead on finding her, if you drive around, you can see LE is searching.
Yes, amen! Because no one needs men like him in their town. Sickening. Moo. and so dumb.....he will never have her now, so what did he accomplish? He was lucky,
despite his background, he was gainfully employed, all he had to do was work & no one would have been onto him as far as his RSO status. So glad we don’t have to tiptoe around what we refer to him as......see attachment. Tells all, huh? I saved it for this day.

oh, I did nothing but google & watched the news.
Glad he’s off the road. (Literally) so he won’t move on to a new love interest. What a menace to society......

I did hear in presser the video played a crucial part in the indictment. Nothing as to if Sheena was in his truck. Possibly she was, if LE could pick him out, if she was with him (at terminal), they knew. Moo
I do wish LE had asked for help Sat/Sun for a broad search. Now we have heavy rain & a huge blast of arctic air rolling in. However, as I previously posted, from the trailer park to Phoenix, he could not avoid cameras. So if he’s at point “A” at 7:45 but reached point “B” 30 minutes later & it should have been a five minute drive, they know where to look. Moo
