This is what I'm thinking...Little Josh didn't go wake up Big Josh first 'cause Amanda was with him, if Amanda had woken up and seen all of this it would have been over for her. So he tried to wake up Cassie first. But after Cassie wouldn't wake up, Little Josh panicked and woke up his Dad quietly. Then they both go and have Cassie do the work.

Defense: Don't you think it's odd #JoshYoung came to you for help, not his dad?
Yes
Did Gouker say anything? No.
Isn't that odd? Yes

Cassie says weapon looked like a regular sized baseball bat but added that she is not "baseball smart or anything."

The ME said based on the injuries it was most likely a metal rod or pipe of some kind. The prosecutors tried to say maybe the handle was used. ME said that doesn't really make sense, no one uses the handle to beat someone and Cassie testi-lied that the bottom 4th was covered in blood, not the handle.

The defense ME didn't test for a bat. If I recall correctly. I found that very strange. I still think it could have been a bat. JMO

Was there an autographed bat that is now missing?

I think he will be acquitted. There is no evidence against him other than Cassie Gouker's lies and JGouker's, who has now recanted. Trey was not killed with a bat.

Is this true? If so, that blows a hole in Cassie's testimony.

You were not around during testimony about the dog and the cat?

No I wasn't..Please don't tell me they had a litter together...

Josh Young is on trial for complicity to murder, not murder. For sure, he knew about this and either did it himself or helped his Dad. JMO

Are you talking about the retired ME that was hired by the defense and taken out of turn to testify due to scheduling conflict?? The wanna be comedian...

Sounds right to me... this woman has no clue.... really sad....doesn't know about "tampering with evidence"

Cassie said she drove about 9 minutes to dump stuff for #JoshYoung. Went to a place she knew was secluded.
Didn't ask Young any questions

Cassie's medication was for seizure's and it made her very sleepy. I think that is why it was hard to wake her up.

If there was not any evidence to tamper with, she wouldn't be prosecuted. She is admitting to tampering with evidence. Nobody does that if there was no evidence in the first place. I believe her.

Is this true? If so, that blows a hole in Cassie's testimony.

The fact that the ME said the injuries were inconsistent with bat injuries (too small) blows a huge hole in her testimony.

I also read when she was asked to tell the police by Gouker, I think it was him, to tell the truth about who killed Trey, she initially said, "You did, right?"

She's all over the place. The story of Josh coming to her with the evidence to get rid of doesn't make a lick of sense to me. It sounds like something cooked up to give her knowledge of the murder and a way of pinning it on Little Josh. Because if not for him coming to her she would have no knowledge whatsoever of the crime. It gives her a link. But now Big Josh has changed his mind but she's sticking to the lie. It just sounds fishy to me.

That ME was a defense witness, of course he isn't going to testify it was a bat. :moo:

Ok, I'm going to confess here. When I first started watching the news on this trial I was so confused. I thought that the photos of Trey Zwicker really resembled "Big Josh" and Joshua Young resembled Amanda and was her son. I'm educated now and understan the family tree a bit better, as much as anyone can know about this family tree. Watching Amanda's non-emotional testimony and watching Joshua Young's non-emotional appearance, I couldn't help but wonder, at first, if he was her son....KWIM?
