Kyle Clifford: Wanted in connection with triple murder in Bushey, 3 women murdered in home, 9th July 2024 *arrest*

Goodness me, you could understand why they were so hurt and angry can't you!
I'm not suggesting they should have had preferential treatment due to his celebrity status but handed forms and a 28 day return date, in a tri murder case involving someone in the public eye, you'd have thought the CPS would want this clearing up sharpish to limit backlash on them wouldn't you!?

Insensitive doesn't even begin to describe it, but is it the job of the CPS to deal with the gutter press's failings?

That is so common and so infuriating, the rush of MSM to print before verifying the facts

I watched the programme tonight. Don't think I have the words to describe the admiration for John and Amy Hunt with how they conducted themselves in the interview.

They were very damming of the media for printing some of the family photos without their permission (I assume they were lifted from Facebook).

"When they spoke to the CPS about their concerns, they were given a complaint form and told to return it within 28 working days - "as if we'd had our bike stolen"."

My wife and daughters left behind a legacy of love, John Hunt tells BBC
Yes, the whole thing was appalling 0 the photos, Amy reading her sister's last words in a rag headline.... lots of details in the media which could only have come from the CPS or the police on the spot. I can't find the statement made by the CPS referencing John and Amy directly - I can't recall if it was shown in the interview or on the News afterwards - but it explained the CPS' rationale in releasing details to the media. It may have been addressed to them but it was generic in content. The form itself is cold... as he said, like having your bike stolen. But I guess it covers that, too. Generic form covering everything from theft to rape and murder. Not what you'd expect or even hope.

The form....

Speaking to the BBC in their first interview since the murders, Amy said: “Violence against women and girls in all its forms … doesn’t have to be as catastrophic as this, because it happens in small ways every single day.

“We’ve got a serious obligation as a society to change men’s behaviour because this is a man’s issue – it’s not a woman’s issue.”

Asked whether Clifford’s attack was fuelled by the social media content of Andrew Tate, whose videos he had watched in the days before the murders, Amy said: “I think it’s ridiculous to say that Kyle Clifford was not capable of murder, watched Andrew Tate, and became capable of murder and rape.

“We live in society that in many cases emboldens misogyny, allows misogyny to fester. It’s not just Andrew Tate, there are many subsets of Andrew Tate on social media.”

Issuing a message to “young women in a troubled relationship”, John Hunt said: “Try and find the strength to extricate yourself from that, because you deserve so much better.”

“Sometimes I say out loud to Hannah and Louise, ‘Girls, sorry I can’t be with you, I’m with your mum at the moment’,” he told Derbyshire. “As I close my eyes at night, I chat to them as well. They’re very close to me all the time.”

I found the CPS' statement regarding their apology to John and Amy Hunt, quoted above, taken from the linked article. Not sure John Hunt sees it quite this simply.
