All JMO

I posted 2 posts today in this thread, one with all the news articles I could find for June 4, and the other with all I could find for June 5.

If you do an Advanced Search with keyword reference and my name as user name they should pop right up.

June 5 news article:

"He's not real adventurous," she said. "He's a little timid. But if a friend wanted to go outside and look at something, he would follow the friend. He has a friend who he regularly gets in trouble with in the classroom because he talks too much."

It's probably from another interview (maybe June 25) that we'll explore at a later date, but the above comment reminds me of another remark about Kyron's timidity and how he didn't venture very far from his home because he was afraid that he wouldn't be able to locate the right house.

Sorry if this is OT.

from the same article:

Terri has raised Kyron," her mother said. "She's been with him since he was an infant. She's as much of a mom as the mom is because the parents had separated about the time that Kyron was born."

I never noticed before, but now it seems odd to me that she would refer to DY as "the mom" and DY and KH as "the parents" -- and not by their first names. Kinda consistent with the idea that everything is all about TH, maybe?

This thread is a great idea ; at least for me, a clearer picture of Kyron is beginning to emerge...

Especially since she says this, with Kyron talking to Terri and calling her Mom.

"He told her, 'I'm going back to the classroom, Mom,' and she waves to him and left," Carol Moulton said. "She thought he was safely at school just like he is everyday."

So far as saying "the parents", she was talking to a reporter. If she said "Desiree and Kaine" the reporter probably wouldn't have a clue who she was talking about. This was very early in the case.

OT I'm unable to open the links you so kindly put up - when I click, my computer crashes. I've been trying to look for news from the 4th and 5th so please bear with me.

I know we are looking for factual information and not personal opinions, inuendo, but facts of any kind are soooo hard to find. moo mho

O/T - I'm so sorry you crash on links, eyes! Have you updated your software like, e.g., Adobe Flashplayer recently? If the software used to make ads on websites isn't up to date the link will crash.

This site is free, and will scan your computer and tell you what you need to update. I've been using it every few months for years, and I swear by it.

Okay BeanE and Kimster, I just watched the June 13 video (looking for something I know I saw, but can't find, sigh) and sheriff Staton says the T-shirts have just been received by the family and will be available for the public June 13. We know "the family" had some by the 11th. So the brother comment shouldn't be posted here because the poster had to have been talking about Sat, the 12th. We can bring that post up again when we get to the discussion of the 13th. Want me to delete it or would that just confuse issues?

Hmmm... like going outside to look @ the raised plant beds with the other kids that the GK saw when he was mowing the soccer field?

  • #111
Something else comes to mind - is the door that leads out to where the raised planter beds one of the ones that is always kept locked (from the outside)? I can't remember which doors are always kept locked & which door(s) are accessible from the outside.

If Kyron went outside to look @ something the morning of the SF, it's possible he may have been locked out (perhaps exited one of the doors that is kept locked) and then went looking for a door that was unlocked when a perp snatched him.

Sorry if this is OT - but the comment about Kyron possibly following a friend outside sparked this line of thinking.

From the link:

Carol Moulton said the kids were supposed to report to their classes and be divided into small groups of a few students each. Each group was supposed to tour the science fair with a chaperone. Afterward, when they returned to their classes for roll call, Kyron wasn't there, she said.

I have read the term 'chaperone', where it had been used by TH, but wondered about it's origin.

Were the children assigned to certain 'chaperones'? If I remember right, TH stated K had been walking with a 'chaperone'. Who were the 'chaperones'?

Sorry if I broke a rule, long time lurker.

The review was an Excellent idea!

Well I think we had a great first day of our review. Thank you to everyone who participated. :) You raised some good points, pointed out info I hadn't noticed before, and some I had forgotten, and asked great questions. I found it very helpful, and have some things I want to look into further, and discuss more.

I'll open the next thread in the morning for the next step, but I'll be back to this thread because I want to go over the June 5 news articles again. There's a lot in them.

Thank you again for participating. You all are great company. :)

I don't know if this fits into this thread, but here I go ...

Terri's email to a friend on June 5th, shows the following:

“I have a receipt showing I was checking out at Fred Meyer 7 miles away at 9:12am. I went to another FM looking for meds for K they didn't have at the first FM. Then I was trying to get K to sleep in the truck for a few minutes, but no go, so off to the gym at 11:20. Out at 12:20. Home at 12:45. Kaine home at 2. Bus at 3:30. That was my day - they keep asking me. Now on my 5th interview with them ..."

Uh, it seems to me that later she claimed she was driving back roads for an hour and a half soothing Baby K ... that sure is a big difference from her email.

This wasn't a FB entry; it was an email to a friend.

Yes, interesting catch, let's say it took her another 15-20 minutes to get to the next FM, that would make it around 9:30-9:35 for her to arrive at the next FM, even if she spent as much as an hour at the second FM shopping, having coffee or whatever, that would be around 10:30 at check out. I for one sure wouldn't call trying to get her to sleep from 10:30 to 11:20 "a few minutes". Why wouldn't she have said I spent about an hour in that email? Interesting.

Because it was just a casual conversation with a friend, and no need to be more precise.

She told investigators it was about an hour. That's in the second Terri timeline article.

Where did the hour and a half come from?

Where did the hour and a half come from?

If I recall correctly, Desiree is quoted as having suggested that Terri didn't have 90 minutes accounted for. She was quite impassioned about it, as well.

But again, here's Terri not looking at her clock while she's trying to soothe her daughter in the truck "for a few minutes" so ..... well...... that's about where it comes from.
