Young said Horman, who moved to the Sacramento, Calif. area last October, refuses to sit down and talk with her.

“I don’t want people to lose focus,” Young said. “The public needs to ask the questions, why five and a half years of silence if she’s innocent? Why hide if you’re innocent?”

Young believes that Horman did the interview with People for a cash-grab.

"I think Terri has come out because she needs money," she said. "I think Kyron is the one who should be focused on and not Terri."

She says reading and watching Horman's interview made "her heart hurt."

"I was kind of disgusted after I read it," said Young. "The focus is all on Terri and how she's felt throughout this, nothing about Kyron."

~~

"Terri hasn't been the only focus," said Young. "Law enforcement has been very thorough about ruling people out. They don't have tunnel vision. We got to Terri because of Terri. We got to Terri because of all of her emails and all of her GPS information on her phone and all of the eyewitness accounts that were conflicting with her timeline."

While Horman has now publicly wondered when investigators, Desiree Young, and Kaine Horman (Kyron's father) will stop turning to her for answers, Young is convinced she knows where the answers are.

"We know who did this," she said. "We know who's involved and we know the basic circumstances. I know that fate will step in. I know that she will get hers eventually. I hope I'm around to see it."

First, IMO, TH looks like life has been hard on her, but that was her choice to avoid questions and act like she did/does. TH knows something.

Why did she move to CA? No matter where she goes, smeone will keep tabs on her. She will always be looking over her shoulder.

How many interviews has she given and how many does she have lined up? i wonder if there is a moviemin the making, her version. Who contacted who? Did TH contact the media since she is now in CA? How much is she getting paid? I am sure there are more questions .

I find it curious that she is speaking out now that she is in California too. I get the feeling someone is advising her, perhaps for a movie or book or perhaps just to try to rehab her reputation, but the former seems more probable given the timing of these two things.

I am almost positive Terri contacted the media. If it was closer to the anniversary, I could believe they contacted her, but it's not. She probably needed money but I doubt she got paid some exorbitant amount either. She's just desperate. Considering the case hasn't been a big national story since 2010, I would assume her fee for speaking has decreased since then. Think about how much bigger this case was in Summer 2010---how much more money was she being offered?---yet she said "No".

How much interest is there in her, really? Her interview generated less than 20 comments on a forum about the case, a forum that used to have hundreds of people talking on it everyday. This talk about Terri getting big bucks for interviews, movies, books is making her sound like a much more high profile/notorious figure than she really is.

I also noticed that the articles about the interview say it's been five years since Kyron went missing. We are closer to the 6th anniversary than we are to the 5th anniversary, but I guess 5 years is a more significant number. I bet she got offered more money to speak now for the 5th anniversary, than she would a year from now for the 6th, or two years from now for the 7th, etc. And while 10 years is a more significant anniversary than the 5th, that will be ten years since the case was a big national story. So I wouldn't be surprised if someone told her, you are never going to get more money to speak about the case than you will right now.

What would a book be about?

Techniques for sucking through a hose?

Make up techniques?

Loving your child and how to show it?

Body building?

How to use burner phones?

Other topics?

I have a really bad feeling that Terri had nothing to do with it and that they have been barking up the wrong tree and Kyrons trail is long cold.
I think Terri is a less than stellar person and I don't really like her but I have wondered since the beginning if they just were looking in the wrong place.

I just want them to find Kyron. I want his mom to have answers and I would love nothing more than for them to find Kyron alive somewhere like Jaycee.

I think she would go for how bad it is to falsely accused. She gave all the reasons she failed the first poly, nothing stopping her from taking another now.

No, she just made up a new excuse (bad hearing) for failing 3 polygraphs. There is nothing stopping her from taking another polygraph now, but she never will. There's nothing stopping her from talking to LE and actually answering their questions, but she chose to go to the media instead and perpetrate more lies (e.g., no one has been searching for Kyron).

I just watched her interview and I have to say I really think they may have made a big mistake...

I feel like They may have missed the boat..

I'm thinking she might be writing (or already written) a book on how horrible it is to be falsely accused. The girl needs money. Ain't nobody going to hire her.
This may all the be first stop of her publicity tour.
And I hate to say it, but you know Dr Phil would pay big money to have her on his show.

There are thousands of people sitting in jail right now who would claim to be falsely accused. Every crime story that hits the news has someone who would say they are falsely accused. How is her story "different" or "compelling" or "special" enough for a book deal?

I don't think Terri has a big enough name, a compelling enough story, or enough people who think she's innocent to get a book deal. If very few people with an interest in the case think you're innocent, who is going to read your book? Are people who think you're a child killer going to want to hear you go on and on about how you've been accused in the media?

Oh pshaw that interview via People.

Kyron missing po's me to no end. Kyron is a little boy & we all know the suspect TH hasn't done anything to remove that theory. In fact, everything she's doing & has said, proves she was the last to see him & massage the fact he went missing on her watch. It's stil not working TH. jmo

IIRC, TH didn't care for Kyron......must read the first pages again.
Who else had a motive? Who gained from him missing? sold? killed?
JMOO, she is still high on my list

I found it interesting that Desiree mentioned Terri's GPS pings. I don't think we have heard about that little tidbit before, have we?

Interesting. I'm headed out to get a copy of People. The revelations they made in the Maura Murray article were things I'd never heard before in that case - maybe this article will be the same way.
