“He came to Rayville to visit his mother, Bobbie Newman, in November,” Tilda Berry explained.

During the visit, Berry is suspected to have gotten into an altercation Nov. 25 on Ouachita Street in Rayville.

After being struck during the fight, he is thought to have run into the woods. His family has not seen him since.

His mother recalls the last time she saw him. “The last time I saw him, I said do not go nowhere. Stay with momma. Nahh momma, I got to go walking, I got to do this. I said ok, bye-bye. I’ll see you later when you come. That was it, baby. I ain’t seen him in a long, long, long time. Two years and 6 months, she stated.
