This is weird. Almost like she vanished into the air. She has to be somewhere.

No new stories? I am thinking that husband would be throwing a fit if she was still missing, as they certainly would have been scheduled to go home by now and he certainly wouldn't leave without her! I wish people would update better.

Not even any recent MSM reports.

How does this happen? Disappeared, still missing, no updates.

My guess (but it is only a guess!!) is that she isn't missing anymore. She did disappear and there is no update, but she was found. It just happens a lot in New Orleans. People run off to have some un-monitored fun, they are reported missing, they return, they go home. The reporting party and the "missing" never update the police because they are just trying to get past what happened. They are forever listed as missing in NOLA, when they are truly back at home. The lack of uproar from the husband makes me hopeful that is what has happened here.

If she were still missing, you better believe we would have heard about it!

I'm hoping she just isn't missing anymore, either.

In my college years, I spent almost every weekend in New Orleans. I have watched the sun rise many a morning as I was driving home. New Orleans is one of my favorite places to visit.....except in August. :)

Since Katrina, the Quarter has not been the same. I can remember staying at the Motel 6(?), many many years ago during Mardi Gras, that was at the end of Canal Street next to I10. We walked everywhere, from there to Bourbon, etc... Never had any problems. Now, if you are on Canal Street, you really don't want to walk past the doors of the Ritz. JMO

In February of this year, my husband and I and some friends went to the Endymion ball. We were staying on Poydras and decided to walk to the Frenchman's area. We're of the age where Bourbon and the "tourist-y" side don't really appeal to us, but on occasion, and we were opting for the local scene. There is an area where local artists display their work, etc.... We had been walking into the various clubs and through these little shopping areas. I'd had maybe two glasses of wine, and was drinking a glass of water in one of the bars, and all of a sudden I was seeing 4 of everyone. Someone had slipped something into my drink, and it was very obvious to me and those that I was with. It was also very scary. In all my years(approximately 30+) of going regularly to NO, nothing like this had ever happened. (Once upon a time, I was even there for Widespread Panic and Halloween....)

A friend of mine that has worked the bar scene for many years told me that sometimes, people walk by and do that to unassuming others just to watch what happens. It is a scary world that we live in.Luckily, my husband was able to get me back to the hotel room, and the walk was straight and we didn't have to take any side streets. The police presence was huge that weekend, too, because it was the last weekend of Mardi Gras.

Things have definitely changed in the beautiful NO. I'm definitely praying for a "Found Safe" to soon appear in conjunction with Amy Crow.

I also hope it's a good sign we haven't heard anything, that maybe she was found and that's it.

I have a friend I went down to NO with quite a few years ago. She warned us about the Quarter, because on her previous trip there, a friend she brought along ended up getting stabbed there! Then he was in the hospital and they reversed his name (Richard Stephens became Stephen Richards, along those lines) so she couldn't find him. Luckily he was able to get ahold of them eventually, but it can be a very scary place. NO overall was kind of a scary place to me, but there is some really neat stuff there as well.

Well, can we assume she was inebriated? Seems logical since she wandered off from him in a crowd. It all depends on where they were. If she wandered away on the River Walk, she could have fallen in the Mississippi. But, unless they are the kind of people who hook up with phone-less strangers and sleep at their houses, she is in trouble.

There is a bad lot that hunt in the Quarter because it is easy pickings. It has always been this way. ALWAYS. Not a year ago a woman was kidnapped one afternoon about a block from Jackson Square and gang raped by 3 homeless, alcoholic, street dwelling, illegals. ARMED robbery of 2 restaurants recently.

I hope this gal has fallen asleep under some pampas grass in Armstrong Park.

Do you have a link to an article about this attack? I can find a reported rape case near Jackson Park from May, but I don't see any mention of multiple assailants, and I can find a gang rape from last year, but the assailants in that case appear to be known to the victim. I'm just surprised that a gang rape by undocumented immigrants living on the street didn't make national headlines, considering what attention the shooting on the pier in San Francisco received.

I have to agree with the above posts that she must have been found. ..there's been nothing posted, neither her or her husband have any SM accounts as far as I can find. Absolutely mind boggling that neither have any kind of online footprint other than address directory listings.

Nothing on her since the 22nd. I messaged the Ohio missing Facebook page to see if they have an update on her at all. .and now we wait *sigh*
I hate when cases don't have much info and go quiet.

I haven't been able to find much on her at all. Social profiles, husband's name, etc.....

I am not sure this lady ever existed. No husband name. No info on where in Ohio she was from. Can't find anything on her or her husband.
