What could have happened to this young man? Were there ever any potential leads?

When I search for articles about his case, there is one of those white-pages links for him, but I am geoblocked from viewing it. I can only see it says address in Texas, prior address was New Orleans. I know those pages aren't very accurate, but if anyone can take a look whether it looks like something that should be passed on to law enforcement. I don't know if there's any chance it's him or someone using his identity.
