Carried over from previous thread [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8156042&postcount=787"]here[/ame]:

Foxfire said:
RE: LE said that the truck did not have a GPS in it, when found burned..

Why would a law abiding citizen remove the OnStar system from their vehicle? .

Just to clarify, OnStar /= GPS.

OnStar is satellite-linked, but is actually separate from the GPS system.

At any rate, a person could, in theory, remove the GPS interface from the dash but not completely remove all GPS information. Some vehicle makers manufacture the data units as separate components, with the "black box" (database) mounted separate from the display component. So if BSL had a GPS and he removed it before or after the fire, there is at least a chance that his "tracks" were still left behind.

Reporter: "What are investigators looking for in this residence right now?"

Sheriff Bobby Guidroz: "Specifically I can't go into that, but I can tell you it's
a major crime scene".

The journalist misquoted him. The distinction could be important, so it's important that they make sure their quotes (particularly when using quotation marks) are completely accurate. It proves you can't believe everything that's in print.

Although I hold on to my doubts about Mickey ever being at his home...I hope I am wrong and that his house WAS the crime scene, as it should be much easier to prove the entire case, if so.

I remember that video too because I remember the emotion.. it was Sheriff Guidroz that was being interviewed. Can't find that link.

Wasalurker just posted the link.
I have always been interested in body language and facial expressions.
My father is a very quiet man, I am 40 and never seen him outwardly show anger. But I can tell by the way he breathes if he is angry or sad. This sheriff reminded me of my dad. If you look at his expressions I think you can see that he is a caring person and is upset, he has lots of self control and the signs are subtle.

Having that be the crime scene would make things easier, but I agree with you that Mickey was probably never there.

Omg I just read the news that was posted 5 mins ago and they found several women's id cards at his house and think he may be a serial killer sorry if this is already posted in my phone do can't link. Wow, I thought this was the case but I'm still shocked

Those ID's really should be turned in. The law cannot be carried out if bouncers are not turning them over in the proper channels.

Misrepresentation Of Age To Obtain Alcoholic Beverages Or Gain Entry To Licensed Premises Prohibited — La R.S. 14:333 It is unlawful for any person under the age of twenty-one years to present or offer to any person having a license or permit to sell alcoholic beverages or to his agent or employee, any written, printed, or photostatic evidence of age and identity which is false, fraudulent, or not actually his own for the purpose of obtaining or purchasing alcoholic beverages or attempting to enter the licensed premises.

Whoever violates the provisions of this Section shall be punishable by one or more of the following:

(1) A fine of not more than two hundred dollars.

(2) An appropriate amount of community service not to exceed thirty hours.

(3) Suspension of the violator’s driver’s license for ninety days.

The cops in Los Angeles do not do anything if they find 19 or 2o yr olds using fake ID's to try and get into dance clubs. My DD had hers taken by the cops and they just laughed and threw it away. Cops here have no time to worry about that.

This bouncer takes away about 5 or 10 per weekend night. if he called LE for that they would get nothing else done.

I believe there may be another video - I remember hearing "crime scene". In fact, I remember the individual being interviewed being on the left side of the picture instead of the right. I will try to find it to confirm what I recall seeing & hearing.

ETA: I believe it was a different news station.

No, they are not...but another local source, somewhat mainstream, printed the info earlier and while not 100% confirmed, the writer wrote back to a poster that she was told this info...

Maybe he stole a bunch of ID's from a trash can in a bar, if they are tossed away as you say...(just trying to think of other reasons he might have them...he collects them as possible future victims? Perhaps rather than takes them from actual victims?)

No the journalist did not misquote him - it is a video and that is exactly what he says. It is at about 1:35 or so in the video linked here, however what I (just my opinion) think happened is that he spoke incorrectly. There was a major crime, they are investigating a scene on a warrant, and out of his mouth came "major crime scene". But those are the words that he said directly.

Yes, he said "...it's a major crime scene..." and that they were looking for, amongst other things, bodily fluids or articles of clothing fitting certain descriptions (assumed to be those MS was wearing when she disappeaerd, although perhaps BSL was captured on TDA's surveillance in a shirt which they feel they can identify).

I hope they can!

Well, Gather basically "gathers" up info from elsewhere I believe, they don't do firsthand reporting...but this Chelsea Hoffman does go for the sensational effect. I see she's taken what the IND post and ran with it, upping it one with the serial killer theory.

Still haven't heard from the MSM I contacted.

Ok thanks I haven't been on here for about 24hours and I always google Mickey info before coming on here so I totally freaked out! Mickey has seemed to really stopped his rein of killings, go girl. At least her death stopped others from it :(
