The whole GPS thing---
Did the police actually ever say that they have his GPS? Or are we just assuming so because they are able to place him at WB when bike was put there?

Thanks for the welcomes - yes his defense counsel wants on the docket asap. Looks bad for him if his lawyers are already filing the pre-trial motions before the GJ even makes a decision.

#24 is corey whites number

But has anyone ever seen it at the store for sale?
OR seen anyone wearing it?

It could have been his # in high school, but to say
Saints #24 is odd.
imo

Unless Corey White's brother lives in the NOLA, I'm thinking maybe this is BS.

Or maybe even if his brother lives in NOLA.

Did I miss something, not sure what your comment means, I was commenting on gngrsnap's post that #24 did not exist.

#24 is currently White's.

It was Torrence iirc.

Either way not a popular jersey ;)

Just jumping in here- I feel like even if they can't get him on the murder charge (which they may have sufficient evidence and we may not know- hell, last time I thought LE wasn't doing enough- they had him arrested and charged before I could even read the next news update!)
Anyway, even if they can't sustain the murder 1 charge, LE has already said they can place him and his truck at Whiskey Bay and they have him on surveillance tapes following her- whether it be GPS or cell phone pings or tire marks or a combination, IMO they have him on the kidnapping charge. And considering NO-ONE has came to his defense, not friends or family, I really don't think he's going to walk tomorrow.

I also have the feeling that whatever was on the last tape LE obtained from the newspaper is particularly damning to his case. The arrest and charges came too fast for them to not know, without a doubt, he IS responsible- IMO, MOO, FWIW

And I just want to add, Mickey's sister is amazing. That last radio interview she did just broke my heart. Her compassion and poise simply amaze me. Regardless of what happens in this case, I hope, with time of course, that she can turn this tragic situation into a positive, and remain a voice, not only for Mickey, but all of the missing young people out there. So many heartbroken people faced with tragedy turn into heros- and I really think she has the charisma and passion to make a difference in this world. Its inspiring.

If they are real, maybe he keeps them as a list of girls he's slept with? Or has stolen them from a bar like someone else said and made a fake trophy case? Just trying to come up with a few ideas that don't mean terrible things

A RSO tier 3 with a bunch of female ids is pretty terrible. but if this id thing is true, I'm sure BSL Will give a fabulous tale of why his having these ids isnt terrible

They actually said there was no gps in the burned truck. Don't know if that includes on star.

And the GPS thing - was it actually On-Star in his vehicle or a Garmin? My Dad had a Garmin before the newer vehicles that he paid extra for the On-Star, and still carried his Garmin (my dad - bless him – an ex-probation/parole officer). Not all GMs/Chevys have On-Star as a standard – sometimes a specifically requested add-on = $$$$

Seriously. Seems it wouldn't be too hard track down the five people who bought those jerseys 'cause they're all related. :silenced:

Just kidding, just kidding. I love all dem boys.

I feel like if it is indeed true that several women's ID's were found in his home, that it does mean terrible things. It's the only thing that REALLY makes sense.

We just don't know enough, first of all, even if it is true.
And we don't know that if it is true, that the women are actually unaccounted for. I think we should wait and see, and not assume the worst. Maybe he made and sold fake ID's to teen girls for all we know...
I just don't like to jump to conclusions and carry on as though we know for a fact he is a serial.

the traffic cameras only keep real time, i think. they don't record. someone correct me if i'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. it's red light cameras and business cameras that have recordings.

either way, we are hoping that they put a camera at WB after all this.

That was my understanding.

Not really what i was hoping for, but Here it is:

"According to a spokesperson from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, cameras mounted high in the median at the Whiskey Bay exit are part of a statewide network of traffic cameras monitored in real time by DOTD employees to spot traffic jams on the long stretches of elevated roadway common in this state.

Go to www.trafficland.com and click through the “Live Traffic” prompts to see for yourself.

They are not designed for security or surveillance, she said. They provide a snapshot every 10 seconds. And she said the images are not archived so that investigators could go back and scan them.

Only in the unlikely event that one of the traffic monitors happened to notice and remember a white Z71 exit at Whiskey Bay – in the distant background of the camera’s view – could such a traffic camera provide damning evidence in the case.

The other possibility besides an eyewitness is that the cameras have a functionality beyond that available to the public, or that there are other cameras in the vicinity.

right, but did they ever say that they knew his whereabouts via GPS or onstar, or are we just assuming that? is it possible that it's ONLY his cell phone pings? they never said that either, right? all we KNOW is that they can place him at WB, right?

excuse all my right question marks. LOL i'm just trying to figure out what LE has actually told us

personally, i think he had a Garmin type deal that was removable and that he removed it from his old truck when he removed his other belongings (CDs, tools etc) OR they know the location from him using maps on his phone. you know when it says "use your current location"
