Yes and thanks for asking!! She was not; unfortunately alright, but alive. Long, long recovery still till this day. All of the unthinkable places, as you all are suggesting, is a good thing--IMO that is where Mickey will be found. We were nowhere near where my daughter was found and being held hostage. Total shock & so Mickey hopefully will be found. As a distraught mother I know how much her family needs that and I will continue to keep them in my prayers!

That's horrible makes me so sad, I am glad your daughter was found alive, but the thought of what she has to deal with the rest of her life is heartbreaking as well as your family. Wishes to your daughter, yourself and your family.

I deleted my post in response to this question. It was a flippant remark that in hindsight, I didnt feel I had a right to make..

I removed the quote of it from my post responding to it, too, SteveP.
(Let 'em wonder, LOL)

Brought forward by me because I'm still confused.... LOL

I'm going to blame the post-surgical haze here for this, but I am one confused puppy. I've read and read and read as far back as I could (and trust me, that was a lot!!), and I'm missing the connection between CH, BSL, LP, and this car accident. How does all this relate to each other?

I'm sorry if it's been explained and I'm just too blind to see it. I had minor surgery on Friday morning, and I've been really out of it all weekend -- had no access to CajunNet either! Ohh, the humanity! ;-)

It's NOT the haze.... I didn't have surgery and I am completely and utterly confused myself. Between the meth discussion and the he said/she said, I'm not sure if any of us can put any of these pieces together. At all. I also have read and re-read and thought and pondered and written a timeline and I can't figure it out. The accident is the MOST confusing thing... And to top it all off there are referrences to people that I don't recall reading about and to posts that have been removed. :-( I'm sad. Someone help me understand!

sorry...new..... so when did that friend put out a restraining order on bsl?

am78, you've touched on a subject that we are not being allowed to discuss at the moment, unless and until some verified information about it comes out. We're not ignoring you -- we just don't want to get a time-out!

For you newbies: Until further notice, we are not supposed to mention the topic I bolded in your post AT ALL.

From our mod Bessie:

The discussion of "the accident" stops right here. Until someone can provide credible information to directly link BSL to that incident, there is not to be another word said about it on this board.

We've been told three or four versions of the story, and in none of them has it been made clear that BSL was present, nor what role he played. Likewise for LP. A young man lost his life, and a young woman suffered severe injuries. It was a terrible tragedy, and the victims and their families have suffered enough. It's a terrible injustice to them to dredge up rumors without providing FACTS. So again, unless and until someone can provide documentation showing BSL was involved, or someone is willing to become verified and provide a first hand account of the events, the topic is closed for discussion.

Is there a MSM link confirming that he has a girlfriend (or at least had one in May)?

No, there isn't. Her BIL though helped get the ball rolling on BSL's arrest. When the trial starts, you'll likely see her name in lots of the MSM.

Hello wonderful WS'ers. I've been lurking for 2 months, daily, in fact. You are some of the most conscientious people I've had the pleasure of reading. Having an experience of a missing daughter for 8+ months, it has been extremely emotional but uplifting. I don't know all of the intricacies of posting but by tomorrow I hope to know more. Thank each and every one of you for your work, I only wish I had known of this "home" in 2009, how much easier it could have been. Continue your great work and after I learn the proper protocol, I'll be back and of course lurking, too....IMHO you will bring Mickey Home.!!
IMO Mickey may have saved a lot of lives!!

:gthanks: & :lurk:

Welcome! I'm so sorry your daughter and your family were put through such a terrible ordeal. Thank God she was found alive. Prayers for her continued recovery.

Not a newbie.... Just behind a few pages. I just saw Bessie's post and thanked the lord someone put a stop to it. It was getting way silly. But that said, even the FACTS are confusing.

Sorry, I didn't mean the "newbie" to sound disparaging at all, honestly! And I see that you HAVE been around for awhile, anyhow -- I just glanced at your post count to begin with and thought you were new.

Yes, I've seen that, but it's just a post from a blog and I don't think I've ever seen the story picked up by any other news sources.

I think it was a very true situation. I followed the entire thing on another forum. He began the thread BEFORE there was any connection with BL and Mickey. He was very worried about the children of his sister in law because she was engaged to an RSO. And he posted the RSO page of Brandon, right there in the forum, BEFORE even the video of the white truck was released.

The more I think about what must have happened that night with Mickey, I think that everything went wrong for BL as soon as Mickey was in the truck...and he that he was probably frenzied and panicked by the time he dumped the bike and got rid of Mickey, due to his injuries, if indeed they came from a struggle with her. If so, I am thinking he probably did not go to any great lengths in concealing her but did whatever was easiest for him, yet still relatively "secure."

I still think it is possible she was put in water at or near the site of the bike. I can't help listening to Tim Miller, as he has said this twice, that she could have been put there and they would never know. So in his mind, that location is not "cleared." I just can't imagine he would want to stop numerous times-he must have been sweating adrenaline by this time, probably desperate to get home, clean up enough to go to the hospital and maybe get some sleep.

Anyway...even if he just left her in a weed-covered ditch or gully, it doesn't make it any easier to find her, unless they look in the right ditch or gully...I remember Michele Le's body was not well-hidden and was near an area that had been generally searched, yet she was not found for a few months and only by a dog- walker by chance.

I hope she did not end up in the Bay, as I doubt she will be found, if so. If she is on land, there is a chance.

right, i'm wondering if he was weaker due to blood loss. maybe not, though. the adrenaline probably counteracted any weakness. still he may have been hurting. don't killers usually try to weigh down a body when they put a body in water? it seems like that would have been "too much trouble" for him at that point, so i'm guessing he either put her in water NOT weighted down or put her on/in land.

do MOST serial killers revisit their victims' locations? that doesn't seem very smart to me, yet i keep hearing that they like to do this?? :waitasec:

This is only like my second time posting, but in reference to him dumping the bike/Mickey at WB.

Wasn't the bike found on May 26th, and aren't they able to place BSL there THAT DAY?

So, would he have stopped off at WB before going to NOLA and a week later?

It probably was. I just like my sources to be a little more vetted. An anonymous guy on a message board who's not even using his full name isn't exactly a verified source, but I get your point. I'm very skeptical by nature, though, so I will await further confirmation in the future.

You are right to be skeptical. The only reason I believe it is the timing. He posted the RSO page to ask for help in trying to prevent his SIL from marrying this creep. His concern was for the kids. And others replied to his posts giving advice about contacting the Parole officer and the DA and LE. And this was before the video of the DWT was even released. So I see no way it was any kind of a hoax related to Mickey.
Also, he wanted to remain anonymous because of his SIL and her kids. Also, someone commented to him that he should not post that RSO page in case the guy saw his picture on the forum. And he replied that the RSO was offshore for two more weeks. wow

He deleted all of his posts after the arrest.

No. Burglary is right. He broke into her house.

Wouldn't that be breaking and entering? IDK

He SHOULD have been charged with kidnapping then too!

I believe that LE thinks the bike was placed there close to the time of the abduction, not the time it was found. There was what seemed to be some misspoken words, IMO, in one of the first press conferences after the arrest.

FWIW

a week before BSL was arrested, A told everyone on the board that LE was getting ducks in a row and arrest would be made in exactly one week. they put a gag order on him soon after. so the fact that he posted that a week in advance is convincing. after the arrest he said his sil knew nothing about the upcoming arrest or the murder

Yes, now that you say that, I do believe things were misinterpreted.

This whole time I was thinking that day.
