Article from 2017. This is about Samuel Galbraith (a native of Aransas Pass, Texas) who went to prison for the murder of Ms. Karen Hill.

Almost free: Texas man's parole yanked 2 days before scheduled release

Warning: It's a very graphic description of what happened to her.

Again he tried in 2019 Killer serving 71 years for 1988 homicide still fighting for parole

Killer serving 71 years for 1988 homicide still fighting for parole

And again in 202o Convicted killer Samuel Galbraith denied parole

Tammy Call and Pamela Miller - True Crime All The Time Unsolved - Omny.fm

"But justice for Karen's family isn't the only reason why Williams and Marvin Hilton, also a retired VPSO investigator believe Galbraith should stay behind bars. The veteran detectives and the current VPSO Cold Case Team still consider Galbraith a person of interest in the homicides of Pamela Miller and Tammy Call. Both are similar to Karen's, abducted and possibly assaulted and occurring when Galbraith was stationed at Fort Polk"

Samuel Galbraith, a soldier stationed at Fort Polk between December 1987 and June 1990, was convicted of Karen Hill's murder. Could he be responsible for the murders of Tammy and Pamela as well?

When did he start killing? Where was he in June 19, 1986, when Slidell (Lake Pontchartrain) Jane Doe was found?

Have to dig into it more...he could have "taken" Bambi too. Missing since 1986 too. What a horrible thought. Could Bambi be Slidell? Missing date mixed up through the years? I think not....all of it makes you wonder.....

According to this article Tammy Call's, who disappeared from a Leesville High school in February 1990. Tammy Call's remains were found in the woods at Fort Polk and her case quickly went cold.
Tammy Call's cold case reopened in Vernon Parish

This is from this link. <THIS IS NOT RELATED TO INTUITS>
Vanished: The Disappearance of Bambi Brantley

In June 1989, 23-year-old Pamela Miller went missing from Leesville; her body was found in Fort Polk five months later. Authorities would later make an arrest in the murder of Karen Hill — Samuel Galbraith, a soldier stationed at Fort Polk, eventually pleaded guilty to manslaughter — but Pamela’s murder, like Bambi’s disappearance, has never been solved. There has been some speculation online that Galbraith might have been responsible for Bambi’s disappearance, but police have been unable to find any connection. Galbraith, who was 18 years old when he murdered Karen Hill, would have been just 16 years old at the time of Bambi’s disappearance <10/22/1986> and not yet stationed in Fort Polk.

According to another source Galbraith was stationed at Fort Polk between December 1987 and June 1990, so if he wasn't no where near <we don't know, where was he from, living at the time, before he was stationed?, and yes, 16 years is young> it's not likely he murdered Bambi. But: Leesville was known for the military base that was there since the 1940's. There could still be a link with the base/a military person. One of the other woman had a husband stationed there IIRR. Oh well...just some thinking out loud.

What happened to Bambi? She made it to the trailer where she lived with her brother, no struggle seemed to have appeared, her drink, pursued at the Super Sam’s convenience store around 10:05 pm. left there on the floor.....Because all the other women vanished from the same area were found...this is probably someone who concealed her body, very thoughtfully or took her or her body far way from Leesville (speculation)

I am convinced this guy is a serial killer. I wonder about his time in Texas and if there are more victims out there.

The ‘Rebecca’ Jane Doe found in Albuqerque in 1991 closely matches Bambi’s description, and was even found with a blue purse and pocketbook, similar to what Bambi is said to have last been seen wearing. Although the most popular and seemingly realistic theory surrounding her disappearance is that she was the victim of a serial killer, I’m curious to what extent other scenarios were considered. The details of her case mention how she enjoyed hanging out at different clubs, and had several friends and acquaintances. Perhaps she could have been abducted by a patron from one of these clubs, or even someone who was a ‘friend of a friend.’ Maybe she was not murdered, and instead passed some time after having been taken.
