I'm curious what the Airline Highway is like - a main artery? Looks like a big highway? What is along the highway....residential, strip malls, etc? I'm curious about what this location is like.

Yes it's a busy highway. It's across town so I don't go over there much but it's residential, businesses, strip malls, you name it. It's pretty long and busy.

WBRZ is one of our main news stations here. They usually have a helicopter flying around showing you live shots of the area so this might be helpful to get an actual look at the area if some of you haven't seen this yet. Not sure if it's been posted or not.

The talking heads on CNN say it's in a high drug crime area, and it was drug related, based on information from "sources". Wouldn't there likely be a civilian hurt instead of 6 LE officers? I would not put it passed the powers that be to play down the targeted cops and try to blame it n something else just to try to avoid adding fuel to the fire of the BLM vs. LE .
I am taking a break and riding my bike Uptown. Today, I'm gonna smile and say hi to everyone, I heard smiles can be contagious. We need some today and as of lately.

I find no comfort in that Cariis. I have seen with my own eyes and read with my own eyes some in these groups call for the deaths of all whites in general and not just white cops.

I am sorry I don't understand what you mean by your statement:" they are after cops who have used excessive force on AA.' I haven't seen any evidence to support these six officers who were shot today was because they used excessive force on AA nor did the other 14 that were attacked in Dallas with five officers dying. So which police officers who have been shot in cold blood recently were murdered because of excessive force on an AA?

That would make as much sense as whites going out and cold bloodedly murdering other cops when their family member was shot and killed by another cop which happens far more often each year than an AA being killed by a cop. Yet you don't see them becoming cold blooded murders targeting innocent police officers.

There is absolutely no excuse in this world to give to these hate filled cold blooded murderers of police officers. None, imo.

Someone reported they saw two men dressed all in black enter the Walmart in Port Allen. They bought new clothes, changed and left. It was called in.
The car was going through Addis and Addis police pulled them over.
They must think its somehow connected because the suspects have been transported to the violent crimes office of the LA State Police office.
I hope they got them!

Lots of stores on highway. Shooting today was by a nice shopping center. Police headquarters is on Airline Highway between the shooting area today and Cortana mall. I-12 is close to today's shooting area.
